Muslim children are being taught how to chop off thieves’ hands and that Jews are plotting to take over the world

Up to 5,000 pupils attending weekend schools across Britain are being exposed to textbooks claiming that some Jews were transformed into pigs and apes, and that some offences could be punished with stoning. One book for six year-olds warns that those who do not believe in Islam will be condemned to “hellfire” in death.

This documentary is surely going to create a storm in relation to religion being taught to children.

The irony being that Christianity has been getting away with this type of behaviour all be it in a more subtle manner.

Perhaps we can now see the beginning of the end of religion in schools and the outlawing of any religious texts that contain bigotry and hatred or would incite a child to do violence against another, such as the quran and the bibles.

I heard about this this morning on BBC Breakfast and well i nearly chocked on my bacon sandwich, this is awful to teach to anyone let alone kids, and they wonder why there is a terror threat? the teachers need to be prosecuted immediately!

Any sort of brainwashing, any harm to children and their psyche is unforgivable. Teaching them to love and respect themselves, one another and their neighbors, is fine. Teaching them they are part of a world community is fine.

Sometimes I wish we could rescue and remove all children from their respective nations and allow them to play together for the first 15 - 20 years of their lives and then replace them all to their respective countries.

The world would be a different place than the convoluted mess we have now.

Kids love other kids... and all people.
until they are carefully and methodically taught differently.

Sorry but I believe more than just the Muslim and Christian religions have extreme elements..
Lets not just single out two please...

I hope the teachers also let them know that it's also a crime to touch another person. let alone cut off their hands, and they can go to jail for a very long time.

And OP, teaching kids about how to do anything is not in the bible. that rag tag book is a thing most kids are forced to read bits of.

There is no "How to kill" anything or anyone taught in the world wide variations of it, unlike islam.

Now go on you lot.... southern baptist mad arses are not world wide. theyre safely in ONE place. Unless they book a bus.

The mad muslims however are in nearly every country now...

strangely, they're most livid in places where islam is the largest religion.

Sigh... How often do you hear of holy wars in the name of Christianity? How often do you hear of Christians intimidating or molesting people of other religions? Exactly, Christian extremism is negligible. Islamic on the other hand, is not. It is not Islam itself that is the problem, nor the majority of its followers, but there is a very large group (millions) of extremists that follow Islam and are the reason for the negative perception of Islam.

How ironic, these extremists want freedom, they want us out of Iraq and Afghanistan, yet it is these very people that kill Christians for the mere reason that they have a different religion than them.

The first video you post is just not right, but it isn't illegal. Last I checked racist families US are still teaching their kids racism and to hate blacks.

There was a very interesting documentary about them, about two little girls who were racists and hated blacks, and they learned it from their parents.

I think you are all looking at this from the wrong direction.
If I was a thief in an islamic country, I would much rather have my hand cut off by someone that was trained in the action of hand removal than someone that was just "playing it by ear".
That's the way they do things, there's stuff we do in the west that they don't approve of, does that make us wrong?

Lock them up and throw away the key. Yes, indoctrination of minors to hate should be up there with some of the most serious crimes. This is brainwashing impressionable young minds.

In fact, don't even bother locking them up. Send them back to where they came from.

I know many Muslims as I travel to asia quite often and I assure you, they would be just as incensed with this practice as you and I..
There are extremists in all races and religions...Think the KKK for a US example..
