Some of you may be aware of the personal fight underway in the life of the English-American journalist and author, Christopher Hitchens. You may also
be aware that here is a man named one of the world's 'Top 100 Public Intellectuals' by "Foreign Policy" and "Prospect" of Britain. An
intellectual juggernaut who has found his position and defended it robustly and well. Many might disagree with him on some of the big questions, but
all would respect the substance he brings to the laureate arena.
In between receiving treatment for stage-4 cancer, he recently found the time and indeed energy, to sit down with the affable and highly respected
Tony Jones of the ABC's Lateline program, for a two-part interview, which can be found here:

For those of us who pray and might think to pray for his remission, he does not want our prayers. So, I thought that this thread might become a scroll
of well-wishes, words of gratitude, and/or positive notes on his dynamic and uncompromising presence within the intellectual landscape of this
world.
Please remember that this thread is in effect addressed to him; a gentleman of high-regard deserving total respect, so you would do well to only
contribute something positive, if you feel that way inclined.
