Why are their almost no militia's operating besides the Michigan Militia?
There is so much wrong with the world that now these are the concerns of a 19 year old boy...
I've learned about tonnes of things over the past two years(Like, Noetic Science, Codex, Fema Camps/Coffins, Depopulation,Denver International Airport, Haarp, David Ike, Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, Big Brother, Hollow Earth, the D.U.M.B.S, even things like the Obama Deception and many others, that I leave the 30 and 40 even 50 and 60 year olds stunned because I know more about politics than them so how can we save our selves, and ultamately our world, if we don't even have a say in who's in power?

i know what you mean my fellow Canadian! I'm from Montreal. What I think is that it takes more than a few to over throw our faulty government...for example if you watch the Montreal local news, they show you seperatist politicians who do nothing but hate on the English, they even get mad there is not enough french music at our NHL hockey games, but if you actually go out and speak to french canadians, they seem to have no problem living side by side with us English speakers. i still don't understand who puts these people in power because every time i go out and meet people, french canadian or not, every one is having a good time and behaving like human beings. even the french canadians dont know how these seperatists are getting tv time...i say if next election, they get a 0% turnout of voters, they will feel pretty stupid, and the same goes for america, every one should stop voting and ignore these politicians like you would ignore the school bully...i know your not talking about french-english debate in general, but its the same case with the WHO but on a bigger scale, they just do what they want basically because we let them!!

NewWorldWriter, first good to make your acquaintance. You're 19? I've got thirty years on you, being 49.

When I was your age I was in the US Navy on a Los Angeles class submarine playing tag with the Soviet Union. Back then the entire world hung in the balance - I can remember as a kid the "duck and cover" lectures I was taught in elementary school in case of a nuclear exchange.

I think a lot of us on here are older guys and girls - My girlfriend is a psychologist and is 55 years old, she calls it a "Generational Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome". She writing a paper on the effects of the "Cold War" on us older folks.

I think it made us, those of my age and older, think more about the unthinkable.

Guess my point is, you are young and have your entire life ahead of you. You will live to see things I cannot even imagine. Maybe even First Contact!

Without trying to sound patronizing or condescending, just live your life, find someone to love, don't worry about the future so much. Don't let the tone of us old farts affect you.

Ted Sturgeon's Law: 90 % percent of everything is crap, including or especially what is on here - but it's interesting crap!

Hi! Greetings from south of the border.
I wish I had the time to write a long reply but I don't.
I've been thinking the same as you since I was 14 - I'm over 50 now.
I worried about nuclear war, polluting the planet until it was unlivable and a thousand other ways to kill off humanity

IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET.

Don't let these thoughts control your life or emotions.
Time is too short and life is sweet (really, it is!)
Live it to the fullest and don;t let the worries weigh you down.
That is how the PTB win,
They control through fear, apathy and ignorance.
Regards, ATA

Really it boils down to this - we had thought that technology would liberate us, bring us prosperity, health and longevity. What happened was that certain people control those technologies and have used them to destroy, divide and enslave us. More technologies exist that promise clean energy, increased food production, efficiency and cures for many diseases. Those technologies must be liberated and applied for the greater good. If that can happen then the world really will be a much better place. That is the challenge for the future. I hope we can all find that together.

I see what you guys are saying, I'm not afraid, I just feel that there is more honesty in a drug dealer, or a cigerette pack. The pack of smokes tells you on the front of the pack, "Ciggerettes will kill you" a drug dealer will take your money and give you drugs, you know what your getting, a shady criminal. However with your governemnt they don't tell you that they poison your food and water, and they don't tell you they're globalizing poverty or that they have plans to depopulate the world for easier control. I would rather each party stood up and said, "I want to kill you all!" or "I want to push for starilization of the planet" or " I want every country in the world to be a third world country" you know? We've learn't of all the wars that were started for nothing. Like korea and the two U.S ships that the Korean's "sunk" that were later photographed in a U.S Harbour weeks later. I say these things and ask these questions not because I want answers but more that I want others to ask themselves the same questions. I'm 19 and my beiliefs are stronger than those of my peers, they all seem so narrow minded, or almost tunnel visioned drones! they go on working 9-5 or going to school, I work for the City and go to school too but I think for myself I laugh at my government and media. I do not want to see the destruction of the human race but I do want people to question its survivability at this point in time destruction is creeping closer and closer. I'm not afraid, but deeply disturbed by the things my governments and other governments are capable of.

I've lived for 49 years under the threat of civilization ending. I've got friends and shooting buddies who are prepared to join forces with us, all former military, in case the SHTF. I've got food, and more ammo stocked up than I'd like ATF to know about.

All I'm saying is that my beautiful lady and I still make a point of enjoying life, like making love under the stars or cuddling on a Sunday morn as we read our books, with four cats on the bed snuggled next to us.

I fight my battles here in the US, but I don't let it consume me.

If the end comes, it's more important to be with those you love than to survive it alone.

Since we are dropping ages, I am over 50 and under 60.
It is good to be aware, and maybe a bit paranoid, but it is very easy to go overboard. What is overboard?
Overboard is letting an expectation for something BAD to happen govern your life. You begin to prepare for thee absurd, so to speak.
There is not much talk of good here on ATS, although there is some, it is mostly "how they gonna kill us" stuff.
It is difficult sometimes to keep things in perspective, and when you are young more so, because you do not have that much life experience with which to balance these various doomsday scenarios discussed here against reality.
Yes, the federal government(s) are up to no good, they are controlled by big corp. to the detriment of you and I. That is not conspiracy theory, but fact. You have work to do, make a positive change in society with that knowledge!

Wow, nineteen? Very aware and articulate for one so young! I hope your parents are extremely proud of you
.

There is a time and place for preparedness, and a time and place for just living. It sounds like you have this balanced pretty well. Don't let the condition of the world consume you but just day by day lay back a little insurance for yourself and your family while you live and enjoy life.

Balance. Stores of goods will never go to waste since you consume and replace what you store. Work to change the way things are but make friends, have fun, go out, enjoy living in the here and now.

Your generation have a much harder job than ours (I'm over 50 - not narrowing any more
). It took us much longer to see the direction the PTB were taking and you already know. But your generation has to work overtime now to change that direction if its at all possible. You must fix what we allowed to become broken.

That said, don't forget to live, love and laugh.

I understand that I cannot allow fear to dictate my life however, you said it yourself. "Your generation have a much harder job than ours (I'm over 50 - not narrowing any more ). How did your generation allow this to become "broken" How could mine do differently, Poverty has been globalized and fear is now a fact of life, but the youth of today would rather go play black ops than read a book on the U.S economy and look at when do these dips in the economy happen and why? this is what I do, my friends call me a nerd but they all believe what I have to say, more of you "older generations" need to address these issues to them and to older generations because they hate to admit when a child is right, so that being said...How could change be brought on by my generation if yours could not accomplish the same feat?

You now know more than we did at the same age. We did not have forums like this. We didn't have the internet - the best we had, when we could get it, was Mother Jones and the Washington Post in paper form.

SeenMyShare and I are both just trying to tell you to live your life first as far as priorities go. As long as you have someone to love, you have a reason to fight.

A few tidbits.
Some of us have been "fighting" the good fight against our oppressors for a long time, some for a short time, and many not at all. The fight, up until now since the sixties, has been simply to try and educate people.
The oppressors, call them the elites, are very smart. They are constantly meeting with other very smart and powerful people to continue the brainwashing of the masses, and to keep themselves on top. You alone will never change that.
The only thing that can change that is for the masses to begin to understand what is happening to them. The schools would have to start teaching truth, which means the teachers would have to learn and be willing to teach the truth. People would have to turn off the television and read alternative news.

The TRUTH is that the federal government is not Y/OUR government. In the U.S., it took Hollywood and the mainstream media to lull the people into believing the federal government was lawful and working for the interests of Americans. Far from the truth. When people begin to understand the truth, much like they are currently starting to understand Israel, then things begin to change. People begin to "push back" on many fronts, and that is good. That is currently how the battle is being waged.
At some point, it could get violent. I think being prepared for that eventuality would be wise, but try to spread truth when and where you can. That is the best option.

Note: One major reason they have gotten away with so much is the false economy they manufactured based upon debt. When people feel like they are prosperous, they simply don't care what is going on in the larger world outside their "prosperous" lives.
