let me get this straight... these strict regulations were implemented because of muslims spetember 11th, 2001 and then re enforced by people like the underwear bomber who happens to be muslim, and then the ones responsible for all this controlling bs don't even have to be checked?

makes sense to me

Actually if you read in the article, it says that CAIR has been guaranteed that this is how pat downs of Muslim women will be handled. Now it doesn't say who gave the guarantee but it does say where they got their information.

I am just wondering why all I can find are videos of white people being subjected to pat downs. I have not seen one video of a Muslim, or any other religion or race. I am not suggesting in any way that only white people are going through this, I just can't help but notice that white people are seemingly the only ones having problems.

Yes non-muslims cause problems too, but let's be realistic, there was never a claimed need for draconian invasions of our civil rights until Muslims began hatching suicide plots against civilian targets. If the one group that can demand a pass on the ridiculous security measures is Muslims, then we can all happily go back to the normal security routines.

I am now trying to think of a case in which a non-Muslim tried to hijack or blow up a plane that would justify the ratcheting up of civil oppression against everyone BUT Muslims.... Still thinking.

Still thinking.........

I can't say that the sources provided fully relegate the title as fact......but.......it sounds like if you don't want to be viewed/groped, just wear a full body dress, a ninja mask and have a copy of the Koran on you.

Looks like Obama forgot to tell the TSA to give Muslims a pass:

You are permitted to wear loose fitting or religious garments during the screening process. You may be directed to additional screening if your clothing (religious or otherwise) is loose fitting or large enough to hide prohibited items. If you are directed by the security officer to proceed to additional screening, then you will undergo a combination of hand-wand screening and/or pat-down inspections that could include any portion of the body and head area that requires further examination.

At any time during the screening process, you may request that screening of your person or property take place in a private screening area. It is our policy that passengers should be screened by a Security Officer of the same gender.

How about you realize that title is me following the TOS and using the same title as the article. I didn't say it was Obama who authorized and you people who keep saying this is a recommendation from CAIR need to work on your reading comprehension skills!

It says plain as day that they have been guaranteed this is how the pat downs will be handled. Then they give their source for the information CNSN news! It doesn't however say who guaranteed it!

Leearn reading comprehension before you come in here and post things that make no sense!

And if you read the source that they quote on the "guarantee," you won't find a word about it anywhere. Here is the link to the source of your link: Link There is absolutely nothing about a guarantee like your source states. Only that a recommendation was given by CAIR.

That was not what the poster was talking about. And Americans have indeed hijacked airplanes, though, you are right, not in the past few years.

Are you saying that non-muslims should be subjected to more rigorous screening than muslims?

Post things that make no sense? Aha, ok... Still waiting for an official report from TSA that says this is protocol. Until then, it's nothing but speculation and rumor-mongering.

This is the source of the OP's link, Original Source which claims that Muslims are getting preferential treatment. The OP's link states that CAIR got a guarantee, per my original source. The fact is that nowhere in my original source is a guarantee mentioned. The OP's link added that for sensationalism. It is a recommendation, plain and simple.

But, is it so hard to believe? Everytime the muslim's make noise, the world changes to placate them. Even things as trivial as cartoons.

Agreed. In fact I want to make a T-shirt that says "Touch my junk" on the front and "And I will have you arrested" on the back and sell them in airport gift shops lol.

I think after reading your link, that the original source indeed may be taking this out of context. I need to see where this supposed "guarantee" came from then.

It certainly appears to be a magic guarantee at this point to me. That is some suspect journalism there. I need to look further for the source of their guarantee.

This does not however change the fact that the pat down of people, including their groin, nor the backscatter xray nudie pictures are acceptable in any way.

Like I stated in the OP, nobody should be a victim of this unconstitutional and creepy behavior by the government.

This is not true.

CAIR has requested that Muslims be exempt, but no one to my knowledge has authorized this.

Do some research, don't just believe something because you think that Obama is a Muslim.

Absolutely correct. I disagree with the scanners and pat downs for everyone. If one group gets preferential treatment, then that is a serious issue which deserves attention. Should the TSA or Obama support CAIR's recommendation, it will fly in the face of equal treatment under the law for every American.

From the OP's post here: post he includes the link to the source that was (apparently) cited in the opening post. If you scroll to the bottom of that source, there is this: (Excerpt) Read more at floydreports.com ...

So, the OP link was copied from floydreports. Moving on...

What is floydreports one asks? It's a conservative blog... and here is the excerpt that was copied and used in the citation in the OP.

blog from floydreports

Classic rumor-mongering.
