I really don't think you have to worry with this technology. www.youtube.com... even if it was a missle i'm sure they were doing manuvers and testing. above water and below. BRING IT ON.

Although I don't think I believe the contrail story, I really don't think this was a chinese missile. What would China gain by showing aggression towards America?

A war with the US and its allies would completely under mine all of China's economic progress.

However, I can see how America and its allies could benifit from a war with China.

Possible false flag?

Maybe, maybe not.

Peace.

Please explain to me, why the earlier part of a jet contrail, which is farther away from the viewer if the plane is flying TOWARD the viewer, should be much wider than the beginning of the contrail if the length of the contail is blown at constant speed by the wind?

I thought that was very a very astute observation of you. It adds credence to it being a missile. But, just in defense of the jet contrail theory:
a) it's been there longer, therefore has more time to disperse into a wider trail
b) this is happening over a wide area, and the winds could be different at different places, making the trail different sizes all over because of the different wind patterns in different parts of the atmosphere.

I am not saying either of these theories are true, but there definitely are enough possibilities that the contrail can't be immediately proven wrong. Your observation is very good though; if only we could know what the wind patterns were like that day. Does anyone know where the full 10 min video of this is, because then we could watch and get an idea of how the contrail dispersed.

Also, if this guy filmed for 10 minutes, you would think he would have caught the US intercepting missile... hm... if there isn't the footage online, perhaps that is the reason why...

Because the contrail is spreading, not just drifting with the wind.
Can you tell me why, if the trail is from the surface to high altitude, it is drifting at the same rate when the wind at the surface was 15 knots and at 37,000 feet it was 75 knots?

The contrails have merged into a single contrail.

If it was a missile it would be moving way faster then what was shown in the video, (approaching several km per second). Where did the missile land and or explode? Why has the Chinese government not come forth and claimed it was them? The missile theory holds no water and the pic you have is being interpreted in a way to see what you want to see. There is no evidence.

have you seen the space shuttle launch? that thing reaches speeds of over 27,000 mph yet it looks like its barely moving.

Why does it have to be Chinese?

Maybe the U.S. is testing their own missile defense systems by shooting down their own missiles.

I highly doubt China would be insane enough to launch a missile off the coast and i highly doubt the U.S. would stay put about it.

You are aware I'm sure that the second video posted here of the F-15 (actually it's an F-18) coming out of the water from the sub is a fake.
I flew for the AF for over 7yrs. It's impossible to date. However, it is quite a clever editing job.

Yes I'm aware it is an edited video, but in speculation of the unusual circumstances around this story, it is a possibility. I explained to AllIsOne in a post on pg 19 of this thread that we already implement a similar technology in SLCMs (Harpoon and Tomahawk). I saw training vids of these weapons while I was in the Navy.
For such an event to occur on our soil and NORAD or PACSEC not knowing what it is, explains volumes as to the ops and deniability.

From the looks of the tailfins and intakes, it sure looks like an F15 to me. F18's have smaller intakes and they're oval whereas F15 intakes are rectangular and transposable. Yeh, they didn't do their homework when they CGI'd the vid as F15's are Air Force and F18's are Navy. Wouldn't make much sense to develop an AF jet that launches from a USN sub when we have our own jets

hey I appreciate that link to the video.. but it sort of makes me believe its a missile even more... so I dont know why you would use that to say its a plane..

its totally a rocket or missile and not an airplane.. have any of you seen the other planes in the video? no contrails...

then again, I'm on the east coast and watch planes taking off in California all the time.

So what happened here then are we to believe that China launched a missile and the US defence missed it, if so WHY would China launch a missile with provocation as a outcome

A warning and to test Obamas resolve. He has no stones and would do nothing but call them and apologize. Ha, some leader. Leader of the Care Bear Club, he should be President of Canada, they like socialists.

China Threat-Bloomberg.com

seen this bloomberg article yet? Cali rep in the house makes case to defense think-tank in regards to gradual advancement of Chinese military and sez US needs to "step it up" or risk being left in the technological dust.

SPECIFICALLY- missile defense. enjoy, and apologies if this has already been posted.

Of course, this is a coincidence. if you think its anything more , you're a crazed conspiracy pinko who wipes with the flag and eats bald eagle on thanksgiving using dead a soldier's bayonet to cut the meat off the bones, while your momma gives bin laden a back-rub and your dad canoodles with KSM, all while you pet your dog, an AFGHAN. In case you havent noticed.... this is sarcasm. lol!

Thanks for your pedantic. There are so many Rumors like Korean rocket or Islamic extremist have been tested their missile capability inside US or I don’t know Chinese submarine or others hypothesis…but the true is non of super powers like to create any conflict at moment, so conversely they are testing & fine tuning all their offensive & defensive weaponry before show time start...
so be cool think bright…

A stinger missile has a burn time of a few seconds. Not ten minutes.
www.globalsecurity.org...

Hmm..Well I dunno, I remember this one time I fought a giant mechanical robot with stringer missiles and probably shot at least 12 and they burned in the distance for quite a while. I'm sure we can get an accurate source by youtubing the video.

The point of my argument is.

This whole situation sounds like a made up fairy thinking war has begun with China.

Lets get some facts instead of sketching your diagrams overtop of con trails.

The space shuttle does not reach 27,000 mph.

The cameraman has said that he watched the contrail for 10 minutes. The space shuttle is in orbit and too far away to be seen after 8 minutes.

The other planes in the video are far too low to create a contrail.

I still dont buy the plane theory. but then again, my opinion and your opinion, do not matter..

it would be ignorant to call it anything...

but I'm gonna say its not a plane..

enjoy, and keep trying to convince others... since egos rule these parts

But you were so emphatic before that it was 808. What changed your mind? Was it the fact that 808 was too far south? So which is it, UPS or 808?
Also, who put together that rather advanced animation you posted, your goverment pep's? LOL Just kidding (kinda)

The reason the contrail looks wide at the bottom was from the water as the water got close to the flame the flame it turned into a compound .

And no one is talking about how HIGH this was at the time . I would say 50 000 foot easy . but this is my view

Assuming, they would miss at all! And not have to fire a second, Well maybe for good measure.

Great effort and theory you have OP, I'm having a hard time swallowing it right now, I'll research a little also.
