Fixed Lights Above Los Angeles Now 11/12/2010 11:31 PM PST

Saw some one tweeted about seeing fixed lights from Los Angeles webcam here:

I watched for a few minutes now and I do see a strange fixed lights above LA high rises..

This is interesting.....

I see the fixed lights ( 2 of them) and watched for 6 minutes...they stayed there for sure. Obviously not aircraft lights, assume not stars given LA's infamous smog ...lol.... so yeah, interesting.

ETA: Its times like this that you just wish all the LA peeps were online and within driving distance of the airport huh?

While I'll say you did a great job getting this out there, and while it's strange, it's nothing definitive so far. I'm not here to debunk but, this is three lights on a webcam. Until there is is more info I'm not sure what to think, but I've ruled out balloons... S&F for getting it first

Well its not likely that the studio has employed helicopters or such to stay in one place for so long, close to an airport such as LAX, just for promotional purposes.

The one in the middle just dissapeared.

You'd think the aliens pr people would be screaming at them about their terrible timing! "Are you crazy? This movie makes id4 look like close encounters of the third kind...and you show up in LA after a missile launch?" then leaves muttering something about supposed "intelligent" life on other planets. But seriously why can't a UFO pop up in Alberta so I can attempt to get a good picture?

I have no idea of the layout of LA, but I wonder if it could be the same object?

I'm out here next to LA about 45min from
around 9 O' clock I seen a jet of some sort swoop past an airliner, I seen it with my binochulars. The jet had one light on the tail, a pulsating red light. I mean it was fast, the airliner was ahead of thi jet and swooosh the jet just past it up. like in a race the airliner looked very slow as if it was gonna fall because of this fast jet

The jet was coming from the east to the west.
IDK if that means anything since it was just one

I count 5 now 3 are really hazy.

Is it possible they are spotlights? Only possible explanation to me.

If not this looks like the real deal. Good ol' independence day style.

Not just Alberta, I want it in Calgary!! I have a 1080 HD video camera charged and ready!

Look up all the time and never get lucky...patience is a virtue I guess.

Oh, could this be a publicity stunt for battle of LA. I mean the new movie is coming, what could possibly make more money for it then if the original scenario repeated itself?

I have been watching this for about 40 minutes and they haven't moved. They do go off and on but stay in the same place. I have seen as many as 6 and as few as 2. This might be a complete ignorant statement but doesn't LA always have smog? I know the majority comes from China, I am just not sure if it is always there or not.
