WAR: Karadzic arrest 'imminent'

Chief U.N. war crimes prosecutor for the former Yugoslavia, Carla Del Ponte, says she is optimistic that former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic will be in custody by the end of the day Wednesday. Karadzic, who has been indicted for genocide for his part in the Bosnian war, has been on the run for the past eight years.

Looks like they are finally going to catch the guy responsible for atrocities commited against Muslims in Bosnia.

Hmm, the Republika Srpska, i remember driving around there, it's in the Canadian area of responsibility. I wonder if the Canadians are involved with this arrest...seems like it's more of a political thing though.

If charges are true (evidence seems to point that way) then ALL involved should/and need to pay. Otherwise this just move on to the "next generation" like past atrosities

Sixty Bosnian Serb officials were fired on Wednesday because they've been allegedly thwarting efforts to capture war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic.
