It's a parable, the Sun is a creature of God who is perfectly obeying God.

The Sun reminds hell, that's why the evil ones are using it as one of their major symbols, the evil people love hell more than paradise... Yeay, I know it sounds crazy, but that's how the evil people are, they are crazy!
