Users have said this is burning sugarcane fields with smoke going out over the gulf of Mexico. What do you think?

I'd like to see if anyone else gets anything unusual from using flash earth. Do you know another program that is updated pretty regularly that I can use to look at the Earth? I do look at the usgs and such already.

Those aren't shock waves you see in the water and in the clouds, they are normal tides and currents and waves, the clouds are just a type of cloud.

You will probably like this site, MODIS Rapid Response System, its part of NASA too, mostly taken from the Aqua and Terra satellites as part of the NASA-centered international Earth Observing System.
