Scientists Find Cure For Hangovers

Kaos, yes it means the same over here and we also use it at work. With several military veterans at our place of work, and we use alot of old acronyms such as fubar, hmfic, etc.

I had a friend swear his hangovers were cured by taking a Prilosec in the morning. This is a pill used to stop acid prodcution in the stomach.

I wonder then is Prevacid would also work...hmmmmm

I suppose the effect should be the same.

If over the counter strength, it couldn't hurt. Although, with the alcohol, it will give your liver a ride. But as they say: don't worry about it, the years you lose come off the end anyway.

I personaly do not think Scientists should be waisting their time on hangover pills. If you drink enough to get a hangover you will be sick the next day. You know what happens so it is really no ones fault but your own. I do not drink because I do not want to get hangovers. If I do drink, I do not drink heavily. Maybe one beer two max.
