Indonesia rocked by second earthquake

A SECOND earthquake hit Indonesia last night, just hours after US President Barack Obama arrived for a brief visit as part of his nine-day tour of Asia.

The magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit at 7:39pm local time.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 69kms and about 193kms south-south-east of Jakarta, the Indonesian capital located on the northwestern coast of Java, according to the United States Geological Survey.

With the ash cloud and now this I don't think the gallant leader of the free world will be sticking around there long.

But on a more human note poor people the Indonesian are ,on top of most living in poverty and hardship they have earthquake on a regular bases and 8 active volcanoes to deal with.

some of us can really not complain with our lot in life.

They have a completely different view of life than we do. I have a friend from Thailand, she is the most kind, generous, forgiving person I have ever met. Her family would share their last bowl of rice with yours, without question; without expectation.

Obama on the other hand.....

The way I see it, you all should stop running your mouths about obama. You don't really know what he's doing down there... Perhaps he is risking his life in Indonesia to keep this little bit of peace we seem to have. Perhaps we are in a war already and nobody notices that... Seems to me like every time someone doesn't play along with the plan he is crippled by media or killed like kennedy... I'm not an american, but I have to say Obama is the realest president you had in a long time over there. Why do you think he isn't smiling like he was before.. Because he wanted to change something with the help of the people, but now he realizes, that the people are brainwashed, and that no matter what he tries it is sabotaged by someone. He had hope and someone or something destroyed it. And remember every time there's a conflict between two parties try to recognize the third party, the one who gets some profit out of the conflict, and you'll find the reason for the conflict.
