hello

as stated, hello......i guess what prompted me to seek out this place is the fact that on at least two separate occasions i have experienced what is often referred to as "lost time", once while driving...it was as if i went to sleep, the awoke, and realized that 45 minutes had passed....no car crash, no injury, no funny feeling, but my normally reliable watch said that i'd lost a period of awareness...there is nothing else i can say about the experiences...i've told very few about it, and those the i have have responded with incredulity...i have a hard time believing it myself....losing my mind?....brain tumor?....actual encounter with ETL?....i have no idea....but i am curious...

welcome to ATS and no we dont think your crazy, although that is a very odd set of experiences you have encountered. Im figuring why would you have reason to lie.

Well hello to you! And what a way to introduce yourself! Was this a recent event? Were you alone when you experienced it? Don't worry about naysayers or people thinking your crazy, quite a few people here have had some pretty wild things happen to them. Hopefully you'll post a a actual thread on this event once you get 20 posts.

hi and welcome , i had a similar experience , may sound strange but i worked out what happened. I was driving but my mind was elsewhere on an important decision that needed to be made and because i was so indulged in the thought i missed my turn off then was 200 kilometres to the next turn off so when i got there i thought i had been through a wormhole or something as the scenery was the same but i was a long way from where i needed to be. Had me thinking for a couple of hours but all made sense in the end, open mind is an open heart , cheers

That explanation has been advanced by my spouse. "Tis possible. It has also happened to me when not behind the wheel. Whatever it is, it certainly rattles me badly.
