Will the Star and Flag functions ever be changed to update in real time?

Think something like the "Like" function of Facebook. You "Like" something, and instead of the entire page being refreshed (as it is with S&F), your "vote" simply gets added to the object you liked.

A lot of us would appreciate something like that. I like starring posts and sometimes threads. The best you can get, if careful, is starring two posts at once before the page refreshes. Same with S&F, it's possible to get them both in one go.

That would be nice! I forgot the whole page refreshed when you star a post and I starred a post while watching an embedded you tube vid and had to wait forever for the video to re-download, but it would be nice to be able to do star posts without the page refreshing.

ATS knows how to do that with the preview. We can now re-click preview and update the preview without refreshing the whole page, that's a nice improvement with the site update!
