North Korea Fires Upon South Korean Troops

SEOUL: A convoy of buses carrying 435 South Koreans crossed into North Korea yesterday for a brief reunion with relatives, despite tensions after an exchange of fire.

The reunions, which were to give families the first chance to see each other in 60 years, were due to take place yesterday afternoon.

I didn't think anything like this actually happened. It doesn't say which side fired first, who did it apart from troops, was anybody killed or injured, did Little Kimmy order his soilders to fire shots into the air or actually at somebody?

So many questions, I don't think it will escalate into anything but I guess it could do if people start getting killed?

Anybody else heard about this or know any more than the above story?

''The reunions will go ahead as scheduled despite the firing,'' said Lee Jong-joo, of the South Korean Unification Ministry.

If it was really serious, I doubt the above (quoted) would continue.

Shots are exchanged often as well it seems as well, nothing to worry about at all.
