The fact that nobody else has even started to claim anything that she did about the codes shows that they aren't really that worth paying any attention to. This "Goddess" sure has failed to get her message out.

And if Fatima was related to the same Goddess, she failed big time by strengthening the Catholic Church that the site bashes.

Still, not saying that the site's full opinion matters, the connections to the Goddess and other ancient religions is stuff worth thinking about. Maybe there could be something at the core other than what this site claims. Maybe they are just the result of books influenced each other. Or maybe there aren't even any connections at all, and it's just a bunch of badly thrown together speculation and pattern finding.

I agree that worship of a feminine, life-giving goddess goes back to ancient times in all parts of the world. Is there a significance to goddess worship, or were our ancient ancestors just superstitious? Too much time has passed, and too many uncertainties. But there are a lot of spiritual ideologies that worship the feminine in favor of a masculine.

However, to attribute goddess worship with Islam is a definite stretch. The arguments she presented were not properly researched or looked into. Allah described Himself in the Qur'an:

1. Say; He is Allah, the One and Only
2. Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute.
3. He begets not, nor is He begotten
4. And there are none like unto Him.

That rules out that Allah is a female. Glad I could help answer your questions.

Always some people trying to antropomorphize God.
If you make Him human, then, logically, he is not God anymore.

And if he is God, then of a surety he cannot have human physical attributes, e.g. sex.

He is God, thus not male or female. He is Absolute.

Would this make there any special connection to the event at Fatima? Or would that just be trying to throw things together sloppily? I think it is highly unlikely, because if this stuff is true Muhammad would have completely failed to get this message across. In fact, he would have encouraged others to go against it by mistake. That doesn't seem to make any sense.

A quick question. Somebody lift this in my other thread, is it true?

Both the word for "unlettered" and the word for "mother" (and heck, the word for "peoples" or "community", even) share the same root triconsonant aleph-mim-mim. And while this usage isn't present in the Quran, it is true that "Ummi" also means "belongs to mother", but there is no mention of "THE mother" or "immaculate"..

Isn't it true that "ummi" was only a title given to him by others related to the fact that he was supposed to be illiterate? How does what other people call him mean anything about Islam?

"An-Nabi Al-ummi" is a title used to refer to the Prophet Muhammad in the Quran, literally meaning "The Unlettered Prophet".

Although looking back on the information I gave you earlier, it seems that the same word is NOT used to mean "belonging to mother".

Aleph-mim-yeh is used to refer to Muhammad

Aleph-mim (with a diacritical mark to denote that the mim has an 'eeee' sound at the end) is used to mean "belonging to mother".

They are, however, most probably both derived from the same triconsonantal root, Aleph-Mim-Mim, meaning "mother" or "source" or "origin".

Seems like a good thread to bring out and identify all the Islamic believers and sympathizers on ATS. At the very least those who are versed in the Koran and the history of Islam. Both types would be of interest to Big Brother.

I am sure they consider most of us on here as a person of trivial interest at least. It's a website that tends to talk about governments with a whole lot of speculation that is borderline slander... Then there is also a high number of right wing extremists on here as well.

Yes, there are undeniable references to older religions in almost every modern one out there. I was just wondering if the connections were numerous enough to imply that there was a deeper meaning.

Of course, there is no sign that the similarities are anything beyond normal influence. Most of the connections pointed out in sites like the one I first mentioned are pure bunk, and the rest are just to be expected in the evolution of religion. There are actually other connections beyond the "Satanic Verses", but nothing remarkable.

Sorry if I offend anyone.

And thanks babloyi, that shows that these mystical people really try too hard to fit things together.
