DD(X) Future Stealth Destroyer.

I thoguht the Brits had a stealth destroyer too, one that also created a fog out of sea water so it was physically hard to see?

EDIT: the topic of the thread was stealth ship... it's not a contest anyhow... it's simply a demonstration that many millitaries around the world now consider stealth an integral part of the defence structure

The royal navy is working on the type 45 destroyer which will incorporate stealth, not sure about rail guns though.

uhh doubt its called type 45 cause they already exist hell i toured one and my units assigned ship is a type 45.

the new one is type 47

also the type 23 is in service and one of the ships i want to serve on.
the FSC and the type 47 and carrier and bay class ships are the only new surface fleet ships as yet on the boards. the FSC will replace the type 23,22 frigates.

Your thinking of the Sea Wraith, and it can shoot out artificial mist that can cover it from Infared Sensors and visual detection.

as far as i know no vessel of that type has been planned yet (and i work in the industy)

yeah i made a mistype with the 45 bit supposed to be 42.
anyway look on the website,RN's. its the new airdefense one.
remember the RN doesnt tell you about everything thats getting built.
