So Iran will finally have a nuclear power plant. In fact they plan to build 20 reactors in the next 20 years.

The article mentions that "Western powers believe Iran's uranium enrichment is part of a covert weapons drive and have imposed increasingly tough sanctions on Tehran to force it to halt the work." Can anyone give me a good answer why it is acceptable for some countries (the US, UK, China, France, & Russia) to possess nuclear weapons but it is not ok for others.

It's not that I think Iran should have nuclear weapons, it just seems weird to me that countries who do possess nuclear weapons are constantly telling other countries that they cannot. Perhaps no countries should be allowed to possess nuclear weapons given the level of destruction and potential for global consequences that result from the detonation of such weapons.

One thing I find very interesting in this article is the mention that a computer virus, theorized to have possibly come from the US, delayed the project for months.

all of the political BS aside, Iran deserves alot of credit for getting this plant operating and a goal for 20 in 20yrs would be an awesome achievement if done safely of course..

Or Israel? It seems time is closing in on Israels chance to strike Iran should they choose to do so before the plant gets up and running. Maybe the virus was buying more time for a military buildup and planning for a strike. The thing is that no one is certain if Iran is attempting to actually acquire nuclear weapons or just revamping their failing energy systems. However, the failing systems would make a good cover for any attempts to go after the bomb.

This is just one article that touches on the subject of Iran's failing electrical grid.

No Strike, it is too late.

Iran has put itself in a perfect position, they are the inventors of chess.

They have many places where they can strike back in retaliation to a Zionist strike.

They can attack Israel directly through Hezbollah, Hamas and Lebanon as a whole.

They can use Iraq to intensify the proxy war and rid American presence from the country which would mean that trillion $ went to waste.

They can use Afghanistan to intensify the proxy war and cause horrific damage, and humiliating defeat to America.

China will go after Japan, N-Korea will go after S-Korea.

Russia will go after Europe.

Once that happens, US will collapse, that collapse will lead to a loss of huge territory, regarding the rogue US empire.

Is that worth Iran?

Now I bet the US strategists are trying to figure out what would the consequences be if Iran is allowed to be free, and allowed to freely communicate and integrate with other nations around itself and around the world.

For example Iran has already applied a no VISA entry for its neighbors.

That means you can enter Iran without any VISA. Iran is trying to communicate with its neighbors, and trying to mix, so that understanding can be formed, and through understand, trust, and through trust unity and co-operation.

That being said, US is an imperial power, other countries under US puppet control can see that Iran has advanced drastically after gaining its freedom through the revolution.

The people of those countries might revolt, and Iran might help those revolts against US puppets, I mean why not?

How much will the US loose if Iran is allowed to stay free and independent of any empires. They are trying to figure it out, Iraq is already gone, the Iraqi government is deeply pro Iran.
