Hey guys, kinda new here. Used to have another account but I lost the password to it.

For the life of me, I can't find out where to upload an avatar.
Googling it I found a video that shows SO showing how to upload one, but it doesnt seem to work for me.
It wound up sending me to a page that wanted me to input my user name and password, which didnt work.
I assume it wanted me to create a new account. I hope to Jeebus I'm incorrect on this one, because...well.. it just sounds silly to me but hey.

Also what happened to BTS? I couldn't find it anywhere.
And who in the wild world of sports are the Conspiracy chicks?

Ive searched for it but didnt find anything on it. Event tried Google but ADD kicked in and well....

Use the same ATS login details to access this media.abovetopsecret.com/my_pictures&action=add

upload it, and get the image address to enter into the 'Avatar URL' field in your profile which you linked to.

Go to "myATS" and then go to the bottom of "Favorite Forums" and they will help you with your Avatar.

Okay, this is Skarlock.
Heres what I did.
I tried what you said, and apparently my password is having problems.
So I logged out to have it reset my password using the "Remember Password" and it wouldnt give me the a working password to Skarlocks account.
So I decided to check my other emails, and stumbled upon this one, my old account.
Not sure if my avatar is working on this account but if it is, hurrah.
I'll email an admin to see if I can get the password worked out.

No problems, but I too noticed some things missing or being worked on.

The real ATS Media, for example, at the address

media.abovetopsecret.com/submit/

no longer works to upload media, such as pdf files. It stopped working some 2 weeks ago, rough estimate.

maybe they were forced to do it by the Las Vegas Review Journal copyright lawsuit or other company(ies)...?

Owners didn't specify the status or future of Media yet.

Hey heres another problemo!
I tried to add a Title. I bought it for 500 ATS points, but it woudlnt take the whoel quote, becasue Im to lazy to read anything.
Its supposed to be
"I'm just a man of honor, in a den of thieves.""
Sooo how would one go about getting THAT fixed?

New avvie dimensions are 170X240!

Ahh cool! Funny, I looked it up an that was what I found., 160 X 320.
Mystery solved. Thanks!

BTW, the size I found is here www.abovetopsecret.com...

GIF and JPEG file formats only with a maximum dimension of 160 pixels wide, by 320 pixels tall. File sizes are not to exceed 75k, and animated GIF's are allowed. (physical size can extend up to 400 pixels tall for images under 50k in file size)

Maybe they should update it?

You actually lost/forgot your password?? Well I guess that cancels you out as guardian of the ATS database if the sh*t hits the fan.

You know, if you haven't forgotten your email address, you could request a new password be send to you.

I logged out, then it didnt work when I logged back in. Maybe I forgot it, but its the same password I use for other forums, so not sure what happened. Then when I tried to recover the password, the one it kept sending me on 4 different attempts for Skarlock, it wouldnt accept it. Cray, huh? The emails all say the password change is for Skarlock, so still not sure what happened there...
Ive probably errored somewhere, but it all ended well.
But yes, it does remind me of the time I changed a servers password... then promptly forgot it before i had sent the email out.

Hey, mind if I ask you a question, sir? There seems to be a few older members returned this week that i've noticed. Was there anything in particular that dragged ya back to ATS recently?

PS- Hope you like the looks of things. The changes are all fairly new and we are all taking them in. I personally love how the site is looking/working now and hope you agree.
