This thread got me onto ATS in the first place and still I keep coming back to it to see what is being brought to the table with some kind of reasoning behind what the person in question is actually doing and holding. But still nobody has come forward with any great evidence to actually state what the hell is going on within this piece of film footage. I am amazed that somebody hasn't tried to lip read the person in question, let alone actually try and say what the person is holding in their hand....

Still intrigued after all this time and I think this thread was posted in september 2010.......brilliant!!!!

Ya know I've sat here reading this thread to try and fall asleep. It something I do at night, find a long thread and get to a comfy spot and read till I fall asleep. Unfortunately I couldn't because well first ,I got slightly annoyed at how many people popped on here with their eureka moment "it can't be a cell phone , no satellites or cell towers"! Arggghhhhhhh talk about annoying.
Second, it amazes me sometimes how much people don't read or pay attention or comprehend???? Even tho this is a strange op with no real way to prove what is or is not in her/his hand and no way to prove if its a time traveler, you can still use common sense when debating it and coming up with ideas.

But you MUST freakin pay attention to the op to be able to contribute or make sense. Seriously.

Saying all that , I really wish someone had produced a few more stills or done something to the film to maybe bring out the details a bit. I just can't tell what the story is from what I've seen.

Now forgive me if in the last 20 or so pages someone did what I just said I wished for but I quit reading after 50 pages of every other person saying that crap about a cell phone not working ........lol. it started making me mad

Really???? I went thru 50 pages give or take. I saw a few things but nothing that really cleared it up ,maybe its my blindness and the fact I'm in the dark right now. Mostly I was wanting to type my annoyance for all the people who didn't read your original post carefully and kept repeating the thing about cell phones not working. I couldn't believe how many people repeated the sane stuff over and over. Hahaha.

I'm gunna come back tomorrow and look at the clip and stills with fresh eyes. It's got my curiosity. I don't come on Ats ,except for when I have NOTHING else to do. I have kiddos and they don't give me much time to do things like this.

Did we ever find out the truth about this??

I wanted to share this....simply because the guy is thinking, and made some good arguments. Now I agree with alot of what the youtube video guy says, however I think this film maker really found something that caught his eye and he shared it with others, and plugged in is ideas about that he saw.


I found the finger movement a bit funny also (before I watched this video).




It would be great to have the raw footage without the cross fading into another scene.

I love how this guy thinks he is correct. Everything he says is correct apparently. I'm sorry but that guy really annoys me acting like we should listen to him because he knows the truth. No sorry but i dont think we will ever know the truth. It could be anything. I'm not saying she is a time traveller but it really bugs me how people can't just let other people have their own opinions.
Unless that guy was actually there the day this was filmed, then he does not know for certain its her/his hair.

Didn't we all pretty much decide it was prob. a hearing aid device? Have you ever walked that far for that amount of time with with your hand in the same place, relatively static, if scratching? No. It's scratch and done.

I will agree with you and disagree with the guy in the video, I don’t think it was a scratch neither, I do like the idea of time traveler though.

I have read about 20+ pages of this when it first came out but after awhile people saying “how could it be a cell phone there weren’t no cell towers back then” I pretty much quit. A lot of people on youtube saying the same thing, enough to drive you mad. If by any means it was someone traveling through space and time …do people really think a cell phone tower would be needed for communication!

I have subscribed to this thread and keep coming back to it time after time. I swear i have been on each page and no one has de-bunked it. (imho) My question now is though... I seem to remember someone posting a picture of a marble type statue such as the statue of David. maybe it was Addonis? The person of the statue was holding up "something" and it sure looked like the position one takes when trying to get a good cell connection. LOL it was Hi-Larry-Us!! Does anyone know what page it is on? Thanks if anyone does....

No, has not been debunked as yet................still eager to find what the person was doing with their left hand against their head.........................have been watching this thread since it began nearly a year ago..................someone tried to state not long ago that the person in the film footage was scratching their head, but I don't think so, nobody scratches their head for that length of time................so it is still open for suggestions and what is going on.......................as for your marble statue, it seems to ring a bell somewhere in the depths of my mind, but I can't remember how to go about finding it here on ATS..............

For me, its still unexplained, I dont see any object but theres no way shes scratching as here fingers dont move at all.

I don't think it will be debunked soon, this thread was started nearly a year ago and it still remains a mystery.
Obviously we see what we want to see and it does look like a woman/man on a phone talking to someone, that's what confuses me is she stops walking turns around and carries on talking just like we do on our mobiles. Thats just me wishful thinking as i bet its something stupid like she/he was mad and talked to themself. But i find it funner this way hearing peoples explanations, and still not being able to debunk this. If only we could find a relative of this person
