It's portuguese, not spanish.

It's clearly a dude in a mask w/ led light eyes. Reminds me somewhat of a storm-trooper.

Would an advanced alien crouch in the woods at night & hide itself behind palms? Clearly a hoax.

Dont you think we should atleast get a translation before jumping to this conclusion? Atleast Jamie Maussan isnt in this, then i'd be with you on labeling it a hoax. This could easily just be some kind of animal too. These mini investigations are good for us here at ATS, it helps educate people, alien or not!

My wild guess would be, a woman in a hat. I am hoping the rather delectable one that was on the couch at half time.

If someone posted a video of an animal learning Spanish or whatever and meeting reporters at night to have some sort of conversation, wouldn't you think it's a hoax? Unless you're inferring the chupacabra. As far as I know that has never been known to learn a local language?!

A translation would be good, but face it - it speaks like a man in a high pitched voice, feels comfortable enough to let them film it in close proximity, but still finds the needs to hide - reeks of a setup...

Well my problem is I dont understand who is talking, what they are saying, the circumstances of them being there, etc....These factors change the dynamic of the whole incident!

We need another section on ATS called "Yeah Right".

I found myself laughing hysterically at this. No offense OP but that was just plain silly. If that was a real ET we have nothing to worry about.

I would THINK that any alien with knowledge advanced enough to reach us in any manner would be smart enough to know the following:

1. Encounter Location: A Brazilian Jungle? C'mon. You didn't see all the lights as you approached the planet? Wouldn't THAT be where the inhabitants are?
2. This is a hostile planet. A palm frond is not a good way to defend yourself. Inhabitants of this planet take unknown life forms and find out what make them tick - usually under the blade of a knife. I would have been armed to the teeth.
3. Seriously. What's with the blinky 'eyes'. I'm not sure that would even fool my 7 year old. I will try when they get home from school and get his take on it.

One part of it that I paid enough attention to where I was able to understand what was being said was that he was searching for knowledge...and then there was this long drawn out debate on how close the cameraman could get to him.

I really think I could do a better job on this hoax with a halloween costume, a roll of tinfoil, a few laser pointers, and maybe some spandex for good measure.

BUT THEN AGAIN....JUST MAYBE....It really IS an alien on helium that has an affinity for power-rangers, and on their planet the palm frond is a great weapon of mass destruction as well as camouflage. Perhaps bouncing around like a spider-monkey on a caffeine high is their form of walking. Maybe the squeaky voice is because our air is way too thin for it's vocal cords.

the led light effect is just his eyes in night vision..
it is simply a guy sitting in the woods being interviewed..

There is no mask at all..watch it in high def, you see clearly his face, nose, etc...its just a guy.

Ok that was weird and just not convincing to me in any way. We see a robotic looking 'alien' hiding in the bushes, speaking porteguese, and quite comfortable talking to earthlings, yet he is still hiding in the bushes. I wish someone would translate this for us.

My point with you wasnt about the validity of the so called 'ET' in the OP video, but more or less your idea of how an ET would act in general...I just really dislike the idea how anyone on this site could have an idea how some other worldy creature would behave. I am in no way arguing the validity of the video in question, it could very well be a young child with a mask, etc...

I saw it, cannot say much about it though.

It starts with a part that went on in one of the MSM brazilian channels "Record".

This video is actually criticizing Record for not showing fully the interview Record had with the supposed alien. They then proceed to show the scenes that were cut, at some point the "alien" says he wants the "shell", and that it be handed by Cristiano (the reporter), at this point you can see the reporter starting to get scared, he said they forgot the "shell" but that they would leave it with someone else (do not remember the name, someone not from Record, probably a native of the region), the "alien" says that would not do though, that he wanted it from Cristiano himself and he would not mind waiting for him again in a future encounter.

The alien finally says he would go out to the road, so they could get a better shot of him, he was also trying to decrease the distance between them, but the reporters were refusing. He seemed to really want to have physical contact with the reporter, who was scared # and politely declined asking that he stood at least 5 meters away from the crew, and please do not touch them as they were not used to this "Project" (whatever the hell this Project is, I have not researched it at all).

Instead of continuing the interview, they chose to get the hell out of there, show 2 tid-bits of what actually happenned and even got an "expert" to debunk what they themselves went out to film.

They also cut off the only meaningful message the "alien" had for Earth, which was "Search for knowledge".

The narrator follows to say in the end that Record lost a great opportunity of getting an alien on camera, and that they were really a tendencious group in their reports.

Also, why do you think an Alien visiting Earth in Brazil would speak any other language than portuguese itself?
I do not find learning english if you are going to an specific area of a planet that does not speak english to be useful, that does not surprise me. I remember seeing an interview with Coronel Hollanda (Operaçao Prato , Operation Saucer in english) , before he died under mysterious causes, he said he had a contact with a being, and that being was speaking a perfect portuguese with little to no accent and said "Everything would be okay".
He died though. Nobody knows if he suicided or "was suicided" yet.

I found it very interesting, especially the reactions of the reporters in the uncut version. Is it a conspiracy of a msn channel to discredit aliens? maybe... Is it a hoax just to get something on air, because they had nothing else to film? Hardly, there is plenty of crap to film in Brazil that would bring more attention of people than ETs (they are already discredited enough), also a possibility though.


That is what I think a resumed translation would be, plus my opinions, not anything else more important I see, and I am too lazy to translate every little thing said there.
