Unless the orb moved purposefully in a triangular pattern or some shape that shows intelligent manouvers then what you described sounds exactly like a Chinese lantern. Buy a lantern yourself and let it go, see if it looks the same as your sightings. The speed variences is just diffferent wind speeds, the wind is all over the place up there. Over the last few years Chinese lanterns have become very popular and sightings for orange orbs have soared due to this.

Also, If you let a few lanterns off at the same time in the same place they virtually move in formation.

I actually asked the poster to let some lanterns off himself to see if it looked the same as what he saw. All you've done it posted a vid of what are probably also Chinese lanterns, it's a crappy grainy video which is just worthless. Pull your head out of your arse before you comment.

I'm trying to keep it out of the thread, can you not see we've already deviated from the subject at hand? Stop spamming. Bingo! i am in the south of Britain as well, can i just say, ive seen hundreds of chinese lanterns and these are most definitly not them. People who suggest they are CLs if they saw them would be in no doubt that they are UFOs in the sense that they are purely unidentifiable, and to this day i still do not know what i saw. In fact it was my kids that called me out to see it, and i wouldnt go because i told them it was probably chinese lanterns then decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.

If you can't come up with a better explanation than Chinese lanterns then some one
is doing good work as agents to hide an actual mechanism that mystifies people
by just floating in hover and giving off a few sparks.

I also have seen loads of lanterns. They do move at different speeds agreed, but I've never seen them fly across the sky in a straight line at around the speed of a jet fighter,If not faster? I.... like you, feel they are a UFO, in the sense of unidentified?

orbs appeared and only recently found in FBI documents recording
the events by Henry Stevens under FOIR requesting a key word
'Phoo", then he found what he was looking for.
I suppose we should suggest these papers and net news services
get a copy of the book and other Tesla connection literature.

thanks for the link bonzo, yeah that sounds exactly like what i saw, i have to say it is my own belief that we are not alone in the universe, but i will not completely believe in the existance of ETs until i see one myself in the flesh Im about to google tesla orbs, i wish i knew what it was i saw its driving me bonkers, it was scary and very exciting at the same time. Hope all you fellow Brits are looking forwards to all the pretty chinese lanterns on Guy Fawkes Night!!

okay so this morning at 12:20 AM i saw one of these orange colored glowing ufos in the night sky... i am located in st albans vermont and at that time, there were no flights going "directly" over st albans ...the closest flight over st albans around the same time was a continental(i believe) airliner coming from midwest area passing about 5 to 10 miles north of st. albans, possibly directly over swanton or alburgh, and the time this happened i was outside to see it at 12:35 AM. as soon as i seen it i rean up the stairs and grabbed my roomate and his girlfriend...by the time i ran up the stairs it was approximately at 60 degrees from the horizon 30 degrees from the zenith...they came outside with me and it was at about 10 degrees from zenith so we could still see it on the porch. I ran directly downstairs and viewed it until it dimmed out to about 10 percent of the magnitude, turned orange with a red tint and then just disappeared... the reason i speculate it is a ufo is because it was below the cumulous clouds which were not shaped to the point of something being able to pass through the cloud, unless it were to move up in altitude. this is personally the 4th or 5th time i have seen the SAME exact thing for around the same amount of time ...anywhere between 10 and 40 seconds then it just, disappears, once with an ex girlfriend, two other separate occasions with one person seeing one, and two people another, and once or twice by myself. can anybody speculate what i might of see, or where it was from....oh by the way, there was no noise whatsoever coming from the object, and from what ive heard described about sattelites and weather balloons it was neither. please provide me with some info if possible.... is this where i would post this sort of thing??

Well back when I was a teenager I saw something one night about 8:30 PM that I never really quite forgot.
I saw and heard a jet plane then I spotted something weird. It was a silently moving orange ball of light
that was traveling up and down quickly in a zig zag fashion. Suddenly it picked up some speed and shot
off straight across the horizon without the zig zag motion it looked to me. It's not a bull story I assure you.
But this was long ago when I was a girl growing up in N. Carolina. I left out a lot of fine details but trust me,
it happened and I've not figured out yet what I saw that night. Nothing was huge, loud, explosive or scary..it was
just one of those things that happens nearly silently while you are alone..it happens quickly but leaves
a "scratchy" ( like a scratchy vinyl 45 record ) memory that lasts a lifetime.
