Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share this with you all. My apologies if this has already been posted however I did search. Also please move to a more appropriate thread if necessary.

I was watching CNN's Future Cities program yesterday (Sunday 17th) presented by Richard Quest. The topic was about Cairo and how the city authorities plan to build a new museum in the coming years and they discussed the cities strategy to attract new tourism. Interesting in itself however what came next I was really surprised by.

They showed some cut aways of the pyramids, statues, tombs etc etc and then a close up of skeleton. About second after the image cuts away I suddenly realised what I was looking at. To me the image of the skeleton sticks out like a sore thumb. It definitely doesn't look normal if you know what I mean. It looks like the cranial binding skulls found in Peru.

Anyway take a look for yourself? Does anybody recognise the image or know of any Egyptian archaeological digs that uncovered deformed skulls? Is this skeleton easily visible to tourists when visiting?
Is it normal that MSM shows clips like this in news reports?

Here is the image I took:

I want to point out there is some distortion to the image as it was displayed on TV in wide screen when I was watching. So you will see there is a difference in the image and the video.

Here is the the full video clip as is was on CNN and the image I talking about can be seen at 4.46
(the video below is what I found on the net as I could not figure a way to upload the video I recorded hence the differences with the dates)

The pharoah Akhenaten had a weird shaped head. Weird face and body shape too. Some folk think he was part alien. He started that religion where they worshipped one God, the Sun. When he died the people reverted back to the worship of many Gods like they did before he came along.

Well for one thing the skull is laying on it's side and and the jaw bone is no longer attached. From that angle it it has an appearance of deformation but take a look at the base of the skull and you can see it's face is leaning away from the camera while the jaw bone is detached. Second, if this image is from the location just reported at the 4:20ish mark of the video they state that they are the first cameras allowed in so I doubt that any tourist would see the skeleton.

Many ancient cultures used skull shaping techniques. The shape of the skull really isn't a great indicator to whether it is alien.

Why did you post this under "introductions"? Just whom are you introducing us too?

Yep your right I'm not really introducing anything. Not to sure which forum to put in. I'm pretty new here so expected I had to open it here. Like I stated apologies if it's been posted already and move to a necessary forum.

I'm fairly sure you are just looking at normal lens distortion. 18mm are often used in tight spaces for their wide angle of view.

The image below shows four identical perfect spheres viewed through an 18mm lens. It is a computer simulation but accurate all the same. Notice the elongation as the spheres reach the edge of the lenses view.

I take your point about angle distortion but focus more on the image in the video as it's not as distorted as the image I uploaded.
