Thousands of people trapped underground in UK tube lines.

news.sky.com

Around 2,400 passengers were forced to walk for 20 minutes along the track of the Jubilee Line, their path lit by staff carrying torches.
Some were left traumatised by the incident and video footage taken by a commuter showed one man in an oxygen mask being treated by paramedics at St John's Wood Station.

I'm currently watching this unfold, I'll post more as it develops. It could possibly be a terrorist attack. It could just be a system failure.

The way I see it is that, If Sky News put this as Breaking News. Its going to develop into something. I mean they didn't comment on the tweeting on Twitter about the NYC UFO's on the 13th.

Anyone got any ideas on this topic?

That had to be very scary, not being able to breath and in the dark. I am wondering what caused the power outage, we should keep posted to find out. I was thinking we did have a M2.9 solar flare Sat. - wonder if it has affected some power grids - just speculating.

Yeah only just popped up. I think its a slow day for news to be honest. It's old news really, it happened more than 1 hour ago.

As long as it wasn't a dry run for anything....thats a lot of targets trapped in one place.

I look foward to hearing...and then doubting the official story.

I wonder if this has anything to do with that loud noise heard yesterday.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I would be scared as hell if that happened to me thanks to the movie 28 days later.

Now, I'm guessing you are not from England or the UK. I highly doubt the 2 are related as I live 20 mins drive from London's centre. Manchester is no where near London, I'm afraid.

Good try though.

There's an question that can be answered.

Maybe you can find something else that could add to this topic, like the solar wind fore mentioned by another member of ATS.com

They are sure passing it off as a "power failure" like ops, sorry bout that. Like someone else mentioned, I hope it isnt a dry run either. I highly doubt if they did find out someone was tampering with something they shouldnt be, they would tell you anyway... Gotta keep the sheep moving after all, dont want a panic.

If its any help to anyone here or in London, here is the webpage for the underground travel news...

Real time London underground travel news

From that page you can also go to planned repairs later on, just incase general repairs get mistaken for another incident like this.

Yeah, They do maintenance every weekend and some lines are closed over the weekend, They do this to stop commuters from being disrupted during the week. However this does happen during the week from time to time.

Why isn't the BBC covering it. Looked at the site online and there are the usual stories...
No mention at all...weird.

The real news story here is that these people had to stay on a stranded train for 2 HOURS. That is completely ridiculous. The London Underground needs to have much quicker contingency plans than that. If the train is stuck for more than 20 minutes, the law should REQUIRE passengers be let off and guided to the nearest exit, complete with FREE bus/taxi rides to where ever their destination is.

The fact that they treat their HUMAN CUSTOMERS like farm animals is completely despicable. It seems very "un-British" like.

i was stuck on a train once for like 3 hours because some selfish dick topped himself on the line. cant say it was scary but it was really frustrating. must be worse underground and there's always one that starts kicking off, one that panics and cant breath and one that starts telling you there life story.

hope its not a dry run but were due something soon. apparently it will be Paris first according to saudi intelligence with reiterates what the Americans and others are warning.... these people know what there talking about.... there the once planning it

I totally agree with what you are saying. I agree it's ridiculous as you said that they are treated like that. We could of course be over looking the fact that they could have thought it wasn't going to take as long as it did. I agree with the whole 15 minute standing still means all disembark the train. There is nothing more annoying than a train waiting for another train to clear from the next station, which takes less than 10 minutes but more often than not it takes less than 5 minutes. It feels like forever.. I really can't imagine what it was like down there and walking in the dark among the rats that London is so famous for.

___________________________________________________________________________

All I know is that I find it strange that Sky has reported this, Our own broadcasting company's news channel failed to mention to its main audience that its main city's underground transport stopped by a unexpected loss of power and the 2,100+ British Nationals that had to go through an ordeal that left some but lucky not most seeking medical assistance... For our country's news company not mention this at all seems a little be odd.

Let's see what they are reporting on, their front page main headlines on their website are:

This is a picture of the front page at the time of posting.
Can some one verify that this is not a lie and post that it is infact from the homepage of BBC news website.

From the headlines in the image link, it seems the BBC keeps us focused on other things. Possible test run for a false flag?

Maybe, Maybe not...

^ Advance apology for ATS member with the same name as my closing line. I won't do it again.

I hope they keep the country on high alert, this does not sound good at all. And imo y'all are right, it could be a dry run. I lived in Paris five minutes walk from Saint Michelle metro in '95, heard the explosion, watched as the victims on stretchers were carried out and heard the commentary live. It was Algerian terrorists at that time and here is what they planned (which btw is now totally eradicated from wiki, msm, everywhere, the plan has been purged from history). The plan was to bomb trains during rush hour as they passed under the river Seine. Bombs would go off on the trains and in the under river tunnel. The tunnels would be flooded for a good portion of the city and all the rush hour travelers would be drowned like rats (the algerians words, not mine, they would always call in their one minute warning to the newspapers with these terrible threats)

www.lifeslittlemysteries.com...

One month ago Paris had a bomb scare, metro related, one location was the eiffel tower, the other was once again Saint Michelle next to the Seine.

www.msnbc.msn.com...

Now, today, a little over a month later a metro scare, breakdown? in London. One of the metro trains affected was Westminster next to the Thames..

news.sky.com... _News_Carousel_Region_4&lid=ARTICLE_15760751_London_Underground:_Commuter_Hell_As_Thousands_Trapped_In_Tube_On_Jubilee_Line

Since the whackos like to attack in threes I would propose that in around a months time there will be another major city with a metro problem of some kind, most likely a city whose metro goes under a river.

It is shaping up as dry runs of sorts imo.

If I were in charge of security for these major cities I would close all sections of the metro that goes under a river or is next to a river. And I would put the chunnel under permanent high alert.

We live in strange times to have to think this way. I truly hope all I posted here turns out to be BS,
