Rael meets the et `gods`?? hmm

Attention please:

I first and foremost support the Raelian movement, I hope it gains traction and becomes the primary religion of the planet.

Why? well, first off, I find all structured religion tacky and nonsense, but you know...their nonsense I can deal with alot better than much of the others.

If their big thing is having a loving hedonistic lifestyle of pleasure, science, and exploration of the universe...erm...ya, much better than the dynamic we got now of stoning deaths, people blowing places up, wars, etc etc etc.

Sure, we would have to convert all the churches, mosques, and cathedrals into pleasure gardens and academic studies of the sciences...but on the bright side, we get to convert all the churches, mosques, and cathedrals into pleasure gardens and academic studies!!!

Where is the problem here? (yes, I will still debate the religions validity, but I imagine with less desire to see it fall...and might even start attending "church" now and then...you know, for the community value and whatnot -coughs-

Oh, and one last note:


in regards to religious teachings, the raelians at least attempt to integrate a scientific method into their mythos...seriously, why is this any less possible than any other religion out there? Seems far more credible on the grand scheme of things.

-judism = mudman and ribwoman created - God hates gays and shellfish
-christianity = zombie lazarus raised by what becomes zombie messiah
-islam = god decides he hates everyone, including people whom liked his son
-buddism = 1) live 2) die 3) goto 1


Raelians ultimately suggest: Advanced beings came here, genetically created animals and people, then left....now sure, they put a whole bunch of nonsense in there also (beards are antenna's, etc), but seriously, how is this any less credible than the mudman mythos?

All present forms of organised religions are cults. Their centers where the membersip congregate , collect energy as etheral food for legions of Demons! Keep to thyself true believer!
