Greetings,
I must confess, after finding this site, I have read many interesting and quirky threads! It has taken me a couple of weeks to join because I wanted
to get a good feel for the site. I appreciate that ATS has a great and diverse community that welcomes healthy debate on topics that run from the
mundane to the extreme. I noticed some discussions can become pretty heated but , for the most part, there is resect for differing ideas or points of
view. That is why I am happy to be a part of this community and I look forward to reading more threads and posting.
I would like to share that while I have strong points of view and beliefs, I like to keep an open mind to any and all possiblities. No one has
absolute answers to some of life's most intriguing questions (including me) and searching for those answers is vital to our growth as human beings. A
healthy dose of skepticism is a good thing but being open to new ideas and ways of seeing things, is also immensely important. To quote Confucius "
Real
knowledge is to know the extent of one's own ignorance."
Thank you and I look forward to reading , with enthusiasm, the posts out there!
Pamela.
