The idea that you bleat about "proof" in your subject line and then don't provide a single link in the post makes me a little apprehensive to just take your word on this one over the thousands of generals, pilots, military, civilian people that have witnessed craft "not of this world". This entire article summed up in one sentence:

"UFOS NEVER CAME HERE AND THEY CAN'T BE HERE CUZ I SAID SO!! NA NA NA NA POTHEAD WEIRDOS".

Agreed. I think common sense is starting to be confused with ignorance. Common sense is just another excuse for people to be lazy and not explore new ideas. If common sense actually held absolute truth....then we shouldn't be having this conversation since we aren't in the same room. We most likely don't even live in the same city. Common sense doesn't really apply at this point of time anymore.

you are arguing from the negative, which is your right. although i don't agree with everything you write, i do like your moxy. cause most posters here will not like what you wrote, which is why you wrote it. and i do agree that there is no mainstream proof for aliens and alien craft. which is to say there is evidence shown and authenticated by major media and scientific community. and yeah, i'm going to post something on my own about this very shortly.

Like everybody is saying, can't prove it either way and I respect all opinions right or wrong, but I know one thing for certain.

The OP probably isn't on the short list of people being picked to represent Earth if we are ever visited.

I like the statistics in the OP, just guessing that the numbers and figures are baseless, but why was the thread on the guy wanting to shoot down aliens instead of filming them banned and this drivel allowed?

but that would through all science out of the window, if we judge it on who sells books. there are many books sold, if we assume anyone selling a book is lying for profit, then does that include all books or just the ones you don't want to believe?

basically this argument about selling books means nothing different to someone just saying i do not believe it, because i do not agree with it, in reality the 'book selling' has nothing to do with it and proves nothing.

The national newspapers in roswelll stated that a UFO had crashed before government officials visited and hushed media. Those in power have since hushed many things including knowledge on aliens to stop a state of anomie, suicides and mass panic. think about it logically, if you were in charge and knew aliens existed you would consider concealing it as knowledge is power and maybe the world is not ready to hear it.

The media is controlled by very powerful people who want to dumb the populace.

Intelligent life forms who cross the universe could crash due to atmospheric pressure they are not used to, lightning hitting the craft or a multitude of other reasons.

What are the supposed motives of cave painters depicting UFO's and of painters painting UFO's in paintings.

The problem here is your,..... "Perception", which is intricately involved in your "Belief". While you may feel and believe that NO "Aliens" have visited or interacted with humans, one cannot discount even the mathematical odds of it.

Before this post gets dangerously close to being off topic and removed, I will once again reiterate to the OP - as a former skeptic whose seen them up close, they DO exist. By the way, think of this... in a galaxy of 200-400 billion stars, in a Universe containing approximately 100 billion galaxies with more or less of several 100 billion star per galaxy -if intelligent life is rare out there, and we were the first to evolve interstellar travel technology, don't you think we'd be curious enough to pay a visit or two to a new and interesting burgeoning civilisation? To think any less is just closed-mindedness.

HA HA HA one of the dumbest things I Have ever read, I especially love the stats you roll out 99% this and 80% that, (did FOX provide those stats for you?).

And the other phrase I enjoyed is aliens have never visited us and NEVER will. Since when did you know what will happen in the future, that sounds like a prediction, Im not a fan of those?

Finally a question for you, how about that once percent that is truly unexplained???, lets ponder what the UFOs thousands upon thousands have seen, either Unknown flying earth tech (which is really cool in itself) or a new life form either from earth or space which is equally as cool.

You sound like religions of the middle century’s, we know all, don’t question or you will be burnt, or in a modern day terms ridiculed.

I don’t know for sure if an intelligent life has visited us, but I know it’s a rational thought to think that if 'I' am alive there could and should be plenty of other life in the universe and it’s only a matter of time before we find it.
