Seeing is believing. Go read and go open your mind, they could be from anywhere. Future or past, dimension 9 or dimension 7. We don't know. However i doubt that over 50 years of witness testimony amounts to nothing. UFOs are as old as the hills and like most things,

Never assume to know.

A known knowledge can be shattered in an instant.

To be fair, I believe the OP is focusing more on the idea that aliens haven't visited us.

Not the same claim that aliens don't exist at all.
Many scientists share this belief...that aliens exist, but they are too far away to be visiting us.

Personally though, I'd wager that some of those folks out there in the Universe have been around longer than we have, and have overcome our limits...

I'm fairly sceptical about earth visitation too but there are still possibilities that they have been, if you have a look at that link I posted there are things in that story that can't be explained, I'm not ready to believe just yet of course but it's cases like the 'Hill' one that give me enough curiosity to keep on looking.

So aliens left whatever planet they were from,
hopped onto their spaceship.
Found Earth.
Screwed eachother, put a few kids and adults down on earth.
