It could be but I doubt it. Wasn't much more to it than, "you're full of crap if you believe in alien visitation". Sounds like a troll although I can understand you being tired of the prediction threads. I'm tired of the ones that say "I know, I have no evidence so you have to believe me". Actually I think this one fits right in there only in reverse.

IMO if the government is covering it up they are doing a much better job of that than they are doing of ANYTHING else... that being said it us absurd to say the possibility is invalid.

Short of an alien invasion leveling cities you will never believe, because a landing at the Whitehouse on CNN would just be a Hollywood publicity stunt to market a new movie

As to people on ATS bashing books... go GET A LIFE... the right to publish and sell books is our way of life. You want to bash book sales? Yep Millions of people are seeing things and are misunderstanding what they are seeing...
They are seeing Military craft or regular every day craft, but since some of them are already bias and believe in aliens, they automatically fall for the ET Theory because they WANT TO believe.

For example I'm a aeronautical engineer student, in class we were testing kites fixed with a few lights to simulate strength and intensity of aircraft identification and landing lights. We flew it around 8pm.
2 days later, there are 3 videos are up on youtube, claiming its some sort of federation of aliens. These people did not take into count they lived within a few blocks or miles from a school with a aeronautics program. They skipped all logic and went for the "ET's are coming theory". Then they get mad that we did not make some sort of mass announcement to the whole city. Despite that not being necessary since it was just kites.

It's quite sad how gullible people are.

But if you want continue believing aliens are going to land in a few days or months, you can continue to do so. You have been believing that for a while haven't you? Where ARE THEY?

So, your hypothesis is that advanced technology never experiences a malfunction? I'm sure the seven astronauts of Challenger would differ on this point. The more advanced something is, the more there is to go wrong.

Do really think that an Advanced Spacecraft from another civilization is going to get shot down by 1948 Earthling Technology?

Being advanced doesn't make one necessarily immune to the heat and pressure of an exploding shell or missile, or invulnerable to lightning.

Since 1948 their has been NO Proof whatsoever of the Roswell Incident except, maybe some confused old people or people trying to sell a book.

"Proof" is always a matter of perspective and evaluation of the "evidence". There is a lot of evidence actually. For starters:

1. The Air Force explanation of Mogul doesn't match the timeline, nor the usual practices for the project (i.e. usually they just left them out in the desert to rot...not retrievals and flights to Air Materiel Command). In addition, the materials of Mogul were quite ordinary, and easy to identify, not easily mistaken for something else.

2. Numerous witnesses tell corroborating accounts of the wreckage, the events, etc. (these "confused old people" include decorated officers from sergeants to generals.)

3. The flights of the debris were going to bases specializing in examining foreign technology. This is a fact, and supported as the flights were reported in the media.

4. The US Army released an official press release that they had recovered a flying disc.

You really think that US Government in 1948 is capable of keep a story such as a Crashed UFO and Alien Bodies secret from the citizen and media?

No, and they haven't, have they? After all, we're talking about it, aren't we?

60 years later and the government can't prevent leaks from getting out.

There is NOT ONE Legit Picture of a Alien or its Ship.

You are categorically stating that every UFO picture is not legit? Kind of a sweeping statement, don't you think? What is your criteria for legitimacy? What are your qualifications in evaluating photographic evidence?

At least two different generals have testified to seeing the debris from Roswell after the recovery, and have stated it was alien in origin. Of course no debris is in the private sector, no more than any debris from a top secret stealth jet would be. It would be recovered in the interest of national security of course.

More proof for it being alien than a Mogul balloon or the bodies being from dummies of a project that happened 5 years after the event.

a UFO is just that... an Unidentified Flying Object, and it is unidentified by the viewer or viewer's. People are to quick to jump to the alien conclusion... just because you don't know or understand what you saw does not mean there isn't a reasonable explanation for it.

If aliens were really visiting you would think proof would be easier to come by...

however absence of evidence does not mean evidence of absence

Well I can imagine a powerful Radar wave could easily mess with a drive system based on EM frequecies. Everything in nature or man made has a resonant frequency. Find that frequency by design or by accident and POOF

There is a crapload of books on Roswell.

Hmm I think I'm going to write a book claiming a alien is sitting next to me..And his ship is in my basement

I should clarify, these generals have sworn affidavits to the effect. Are you going to swear to your statement, as a legal declaration? Not to mention, their position and history grants a certain amount of weight to their testimony. These aren't folks who make a habit of lying.

We will never know until they actually land on our planet like in the movie "War of the Worlds". Until then, every news, rumor, etc is all entertainment.
