10/10/10 mania: 'Divine time' or pagan 'divination'?

What is it about the No. 10?

We're born with 10 fingers and 10 toes, and Top 10 lists are ubiquitous these days.

But get ready for the number to be talked about a bit more than usual in the next month as Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, will bring about the unique-to-this-century calendar alignment of 10/10/10.

But is there any significance to this triple-10 occurrence, known as a trinumeral? Some suggest there might be some sort of heavenly meaning, despite the fact our calendar today is based on one developed in the pagan Roman world.

"Throughout the Bible, specific numbers are utilized by God as well as Jesus in the New Testament," said Connie Lemacks-Davis of Long Beach, Calif., who calls 10/10/10 a "once-in-a-lifetime date that could very well represent a divine time or a divine day on God's calendar or God's clock."
She added, "Specific numbers have always been a part of God's divine plan. This date might just have a significant meaning or again, it may not. Of course, there is no way of knowing for sure."
Indeed, the Bible does feature numbers, and often links them with recurring themes.

One website analyzing the predictions concerning what might happen on 10/10/10 says most opinions are based on or are rooted in its mathematical uniqueness as a number, with three possible outcomes:

1. Something good happens – There is absolutely no scientific basis for this belief. There are no known logical premises for this belief. The belief that something good will happen is based solely on spiritualism, faith, and/or innate optimism. This belief is not necessarily a bad thing; we don't know everything; the probability is not zero.

2. Nothing happens – This is the most likely scenario. Just because an unusual date number sequence occurs doesn't mean that something will happen. Usually it's a non-event.

3. Something bad happens – There is absolutely no scientific basis for this belief. There are no known logical premises for this belief. The belief that something bad will happen is based solely on pessimism of reality. This belief is not necessarily false; after all, things are generally/usually a mess. The probability is not zero.

While the calendar event of 10/10/10 occurs once every century, you won't have to wait too long for another unique lineup, as Nov. 11, 2011, will make it 11/11/11, and then Dec. 12, 2012, will produce 12/12/12.

The date may come and go without obvious circumstances, It’s a wait and see thing.

The No. 10, for instance, is associated with completeness of order. (Maybe NWO?)

The No. 7 is also found hundreds of times in the Bible, and is often tied to spiritual perfection. On September 15th 2007 the DOW dropped 777 points sending our economy in to a tail spin. Many marriages were on 7/7/07 as a Holy day to wed.

Bible numerology has been related to Biblical events with divine accuracy.

The following video isnt really good, the guy sounds like he stutters for his words but he predicts a war on this date. I guess we will soon see.

You know what other date is a once in a lifetime event? 10/6/10 We won't get another one haha.
And there will be three possible outcomes for today's date. Either something good happens, something bad happens or nothing will happen.

Of course I did click on the thread so I guess there's something to it, and there was the 7/7/7 incident (though can anyone remember what happened on 8/8/8 or 9/9/9? me either)

You never know, I find it interesting that the planets also line up on 10/10/10

Our magnetosphere is getting an update to being a crystalline grid (much higher frequencies). What happens when the earth's frequencies are increased? The "veil" between dimensions becomes thinner, because everything above 3D works on higher frequencies.

9/9/9 = Crystalline earth grid activating at 25%.

10/10/10 = Crystalline earth grid powering up to 50% with higher frequencies.

11/11/11 = Crystalline earth grid powering up to 75%.

A date is a date is a date.

The calender was made by man, for man. There are many different versions of the calender. Hell, the calender you are inferring, the Gregorian calendar, is not the only calender used today.

They said something would happen on 6/6/06. They say something will happen on 10/10/10, but what about 11/11/11, or 12/12/12? Or better yet, 12/21/12?

It is just a number to me. The days really mean nothing. The only dates I care about are the first of April, my birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Nothing will happen on 10/10/10, bottom line.

Apparently our 7 years of tribulation happened already and the Rapture was supposed to happen weeks ago. We must all be Jewish, according to Christian belief, because we are still here.

Interesting, or just BS as usually?
I have always loved these kind of things, I find i intersting sometimes. But mostly becouse of the story that some people can make out of nothing. Its a fun thing though, but I dont take it seriusly, just a good read.

And what could happen? Good and bad things will happen 10/10/10 all over the world, like everyday. Before I belive on this, a thing should happen to us all, same moment, same thing, all people. Then I would start to take is seriusly.

So I guess my sunday will be the same boring sunday as usual. Maybe I should buy a pizza, that would surely make my sunday special.

I know Venus goes retrograde on 10/8/10.
What planetary alignment is going on then? Also, do you know of a good place where you can plug in a date and get the planetary configuration?

It's Saturn, Venus and Mars. I like Astronomy but not necessarily Astrology. So I'm not sure which one you want. I'd go with the Hubble or Nasa sites. The live sky cam was taken down a few years ago.

Really don't think anything's gonna happen. For 9 other years we've had dates like this 1/1/01, 2/2/02,3/3/03 and so on. It's just normal for the years to be like this. Same thing happened in every other century and nothing happened on those days. Oct. 10th 1910 was also a 10/10/10. World didn't end that day. Did it?


Point is. Things can happen on any random date. Plain and simple.

I do think it's odd that we have 10/10/10,,11/11/11, 12/12/12. The sequence isnt possible in every decade. I'm also looking for more on the astronomy side.

Maybe something going to happen to me its my birthday.

Dates, just like time, religion and money are man made creations. What they have in common is that they all are given importance and in the end mean absolutely nothing.

It's because it's the beginning of the millenium.... It's actually from 1/1/01 up to 12/12/12... it would keep going but we have no 13th month.

It's a 12 year cycle and it happens every what... 1000 years? Just a consequence of the design of our calendar. Nothing special. In 3010 people will be having the same conversation.

Which brings up another point... it's not actually 10/10/10.... it's 10/10/2010... But that makes it lose the magic, eh?
