Bill Gates - Vaccines Can Help Reduce World Population

In a recent TED conference presentation, Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, who has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to new vaccine efforts, speaks on the issue of CO2 emissions and its effects on climate change. He says:

“The world today has 6.8 billion people… that’s headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.”

Proof of what some have said in the past about vaccines being used to control population? Maybe but not so fast there. Vaccines can and do cause fertility so it cannot be concluded by saying that in general, vaccines can be used as a population control.

Perhaps not coincidentally, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has funneled hundreds of millions of dollars into vaccine programs targeting people all over the world. One such program is researching the development of “sweat-triggered vaccines” that could use specially-coated nano-materials to deliver vaccines to people without using injections.

But...If the vaccines were developed especially for reducing the population of the world then you got something here! or they can be piggybacked into a common vaccine like Tetnus or Flu shots and there you go. But I do think there is some truth into this although I'm a little upset it came from Bill Gates' mouth but he and his wife have been deeply involved in vaccine development and other medical support. Some legit and I think its a good thing that people rich as them do that. However the statement still bothers me though. What do you all think about this?

I do agree that to much of what he speaks of is very strange, extremely strange...

Bottom line we have alternative means to control CO2, but even then it is shown that this increase in weather is due to the entire solar system heating up.

I call BS on on Bill Gates on this one...

I have seen where he has said some odd statements in the past on misc. topics. But this one along with his involvement in providing funding for vaccination research & development scares me.

BG - So your telling me that if that if we mixed that into the flu shot it will make a person's life shorter or they could die from what seems like natural causes and can't be traced?

Scientist - Yes Mr. Gates.
