WHO LIVES ON GLIESE 581d ?

So who lives on Gliese 581d? You know the recently discovered planet 20 LY away, so Earth like. First they told us that they just discovered this planet. Then a report of a laser like flash was observed by Earth bound astronomers. Now there is a thread on ATS reporting that NASA sent a message to this planet back in August of 2009. So for those of you into Exo-politics, who lives on Gliese 581d? Does anyone know what alien civilization controls that area of the galaxy? Peace.

Actually, the laser like signal did not come from the Gliese system. It came from halfway across the sky in 47 Tucanae. It was a "misunderstanding" on the part of the press, not an uncommon circumstance.

You got the wrong planet, Gliese 581d was discovered years ago, it along with gliese 581c made some news, but c was too close to the star, and d was too far. The planet you are talking about is the one discovered a week ago, Gliese 581g
