Oh, someone mentioned drain cleaner was an acid. Not normally. it's an alkaline called Sodium Hydroxide (Drano), also known as Lye (interesting twist there for the police story). Sodium Hydroxide is more than just drain cleaner, it can be used as an electrolyte with HHO cell technology, you can use it to clean all kinds of metal, it works as an excellent cleaner in the cooling lines of combustion engines, if I remember right it is used in oil to diesel conversion for bio-fuels along with methanol and water and of course it is also used in the production of crack coc aine and/or crystal meth (I think both, but my chemistry is a bit rusty).
