Unusual object in night sky baffles Montrealers

ca.news.yahoo.com

A mysterious object in the sky over Montreal this week is getting a lot of attention, including from a respected Montreal doctor who believes he saw something "out of this world."

Several people in the Cote St. Luc neighbourhood called authorities early Wednesday morning about a strange blinking light hovering high in the sky.

Dr. Cleve Ziegler, an obstetrician-gynecologist, spotted the object when he was driving home from work around 12:30 a.m. He couldn't believe his eyes.

This looks like it's getting attention, and so near to my city! Seems pretty strange as it's a reoccurance and I myself saw blinking lights in the nightsky about 3 or more/less weeks ago which almost sound almost exactly like the same object, maybe related. Still very interesting, hopefully it won't get some rediculous report by the authorities.

Hopefully (yet unfortunately) coming from a doctor this will put a little more credence to all these blinking UFOs lately. I say unfortunately because if this report came from Joe-Blow from down the block, it wouldn't be taken as seriously.

I noticed a recent active thread that depicts an airplane that could be (and often is) taken for a UFO. I think the average person can differentiate between the two however I know it is known to happen. But it's my impression that our skies have become abundantly active with strange 'crafts' lately so please don't become too complacent thinking all you're seeing are conventional airplanes.

You know something, on my way home from work tonight and I live in the UK, I saw 5 red blinking lights, in the night sky, at first I thought, they were lights on the Electricty Pylons, but they were not. I wished I had taken a picture of them with my mobile now.

They were not on a building they were sitting there in the night sky. Weird things are happening these days.

Came across this snippet. Looks like the ol' stand-by 'helicopter' excuse is already underway!

UFOs in Montreal? Strange sights reported
Doctor among witnesses to 'not of this world' light show

Montreal police received several calls about a mysterious object in the sky after midnight Wednesday morning.
Const. Daniel Lacoursière said Trudeau Airport reported nothing on the radar in that area at the time.
He posed another theory. Around the same time, helicopters were buzzing around the site of a fuel spill at the Port of Montreal in the other end of town.
Ziegler said he doesn't believe in extraterrestrial life, but thinks he did see something otherworldly.
"It's not like I want to believe this," he said.

Aha! That was quick. Already taking the publics eye toward the oh-so-popular "helicopter"!
Really quite amazing how fast the media reacts to these events with another story.

It almost sounds similar to the Vernon Lights and the Summerland lights that had a similarity. This was in B.C.

Interesting anything like the object I filmed in Kent last night?

Looks like it ranged from partly cloudy to overcast in Montreal on Sept 29, 2010
Visibility was 14.8 miles.

That is very impressive. Was the object in your video actually red or was your hue set on red (because I noticed everything looked reddish).
Were those two objects (as you claim)? If so, how do you know? Did you see some space in between the two lights?

You should start a thread on this!

That is exactly, I mean EXACTLY the one I saw here outside my home in Ottawa on a clear beautiful night, it was blinking, nothing like an aircraft that I know of, deffinently not a helicopter, as it was silent, but it did appear a slight bit bigger over here, noticable with the blinking of the object.

Very cool to see a medical physician speaking up about his sighting. So many in the field are most likely afraid to discuss topics like this, so to see a brave doctor speaking out about what happened is pretty inspiring. Thanks for sharing this important piece of news

That was exactly what one saw, but there were 5 of them, 2 at the top, 2 in the middle and 1 at the bottom, that is why at first I thought they were lights on electricity pylons, but there are pylons near to the roads where I work. And there is no lights on them. Now I walk to same route, to go for the bus home every night. And that was the fist time I have seen these lights. Completely weird to say the least.

That's my point. But apparently, the more pieces of Sheepskin you have hanging on your wall the more instantly credible you are in the eyes of others.
And what's so ironic is; the more collegiate-smart they are, the more unlikely it is they really know what's going on around them!

Discouraging that at the end of the report the man said "It's not like I want to believe this". This general consensus on the subject is dispiriting.
