Hello, some of my friends got back from camping,
and they showed me this picture on there camera.
now, i was shocked, and i also know them and they are not computer savy.
so I don't think some one photo shopped this in, anyways the "thing" is not friendly

it looks like a double exposure of a doll

I'm not feeling a 'spook', looks like all kinds of photoshop trickery ,I could totally photoshop that in 2 minutes

it's fake the good news is it's safe to turn out the lights

Oh....That's just the Coleman Lantern Ferry. Making sure your mantles are not ripped, your fuel is Coleman, and you have not over pumped your fount. Or maybe I'm wrong and it is an apparition. Cool pic if it's real

I agree - that looks like the same style of apparition..

Not only that but the room looks like the guy taking the photo might have thought it would be a neat trick to play.

Thanks Apple, you bunch of idiots.....

Get the original file of the photo. It has metadata which will tell you if the photo has been altered.

I'm calling BS on the picture.... sorry, but I've seen so many of these supposed pictures that I can pretty much spot a fake right away.

Hoax!!!

Look at the bottom left corner. This is an iPhone app, that adds a ghost to your photo and that "ghost" just happens to be featured in the iPhone app.

Yeah. Looking at the iphone ghost app, the "ghost" pretty much looks like the little-girl-in-a-dress ghost it has as one of the choices. Check the exif data on the photo. At least on my iphone, it tags it with all sorts of info. Even location via GPS.

EXIF data has been stripped....on purpose more than likely.
Can not analyze a photo without. OP needs to obtain the original raw image.

With that said, looks pretty obvious it is either PS or the iPhone app. Obvious.

Its hard to say. Ive had apparitions that clear appear before in photographs. Why dont you grill your friend to see if they faked it via iphone or photoshop. If at the end of the day they attest it wasnt- then where was this photo taken?

This one's pretty much been debunked as the Iphone app...

I really really really hate these digital edited hoaxes... Please give me practical effects over CG and software photo manipulation any day. What happened to the golden age of ghost photos, when they actually looked spooky and semi-real?

Case in point, the famous Brown Lady:

Is that your expert paranormal opinion?

In my unprofessional opinion, they don't need to grill their friend to see if it's faked.

That's how obviously faked it is.

If at the end of the day they attest it wasnt- then where was this photo taken?

If they attest it wasn't, they're flat out lying.

This is of course in my unprofessional opinion.
