I'd say it's just more fear mongering from the likes of alex jones. If you have another more trusted source I would like to see it ,otherwise I won't comment on something from infowars.

I'd also go as far to say ATS should make people put their source in the title. That way I'd know not to waste my time looking at stories from sites like infowars , prison planet or anything Alex Jones has to say.

There's a solution to almost every kind of war. It's like the information "war" going on within the internet right now. Fill it with ads and disinformation and people just give up trying to find the truth, especially if they are trying to stay alive and don't have a lot of free time on their hands to do research.

So I say, if you want to defeat this kind of crap in email trawling, add a signature line that bashes the government on 3 or 4 different fronts, eg. "Obama is a Fed shill, close the fed and claim bankruptcy, all wars are illegal and unethical, the new Outsourcing show sucks (just had to add that)"

By doing this and adding your own type and wording of statements, hopefully every email in the world will eventually have to be monitored making it not worth their time and effort as the sheer volume will drive them and their OCR's insane. If that doesn't work, we can always get the people at 4chan onboard 'cause sometimes you just have to fight real evil with a much more intelligent (as viewed by the PTB) greater "evil" ;-)

Cheers - Dave

To both yourself and pigwithoutawig, dont waste my time or yours by posting anything, how about that...If these ideas are on the table or even being discussed in the political arena, your damn right someone better talk about it...Some one needs to make the public aware...Alex Jones does this, does he get over excited at times, yes he does, but the fact of the matter is that someone needs to draw attention to these freedom taking ideas and thats what he does.....peace

Attacking the messenger is stale and limiting...

www.buffalonews.com...

“Suppose you know there’s a threat to the president when he is visiting, say, Texas. Through information obtained by the National Security Agency, we have the tools to go through huge quantities of data obtained from that area,” said professor Mathieu Guidere of the University of Geneva.

If the DC killer clown puppet show comes to town, best be polite and say nice things about dear leader on the phone... lol..

One drunk'n tirade about the party leader de jure: $3 in phone minutes
Ending up on a secret Govt assassination list: priceless

A friendly message of freedom brought to you by Corporate Fascism inc, and your dear GOP/DNC party leaders.. to remind all good citizens: "only terrorists talk bad about us"

..probably been in use for years anyway.. just another nail in the coffin of American rights..move along in silence, nothing to see here... move along..

So someone comes on telling us what is what with old numbers 4 and 6.

Perhaps a reading of this might be of help. We can make up our own minds as to the validity of the source quite well.

Anyone that thinks that the DHS isn't all over private communications is either a fool or a disinfo tool.
I don't need AJ to clue me to this obvious fact.

Yeah, I doubt it. Do you know much man power it would take to read all of those?

Second line.

That would be pretty pointless.
I thought it was pretty clear already that most folks resent the government.
Why waste money looking for the obvious?

I kind of hope they implement this technology.

This way I can be assured that some government asshat is going to be forced to read my blog on a regular basis.

hahahahahaha

This technology might backfire on them.

If law enforcement was forced to read patriot blogs constantly, they might become affected by it and start to believe in freedom.

I guess people are just tired of reading, and posting, about this kind of stuff. Thus the reason for a lack of replies.

I agree with what some have stated concerning this and am not, in the least bit, surprised it is being considered - if not already being done, to a certain extent. For those just wanting to bash the source, I believe other sources have been provided. So, why not just butt out??

From my own experiences, in the late 70's and early 80's, I am well aware of what the Government is capable, and willing, to do to US citizens. I have no doubt, through my website, they already have me labelled, anyway! To think that alot of people just do not seem to care or do not believe we, sooner or later, need to stand up to the Government - harshly - I remain amazed. No wonder I prefer my loyal dog over most humans I have come to know!!

I do not believe they will stop doing such things until they have every Constitutional thinker locked up somewhere and, I believe, it will start happening within the next 2-5 years! I know I will not go without defending myself. How about you??

Its those people they want to surpress as quickly as possible when things start getting really bad. They are the ones that WOULD put up a fight against what they are doing and they know the rest can be led anywhere they want - without them. Such is life within the USA nowdays.......................

but just because alex jones says it, doesnt mean it is 'on the table', which is the point, isnt it?

Look, I haven't read all of the previous post on here, I can already tell what they are "Big brother is listening" followed by "prove it".
The government is going to listen in on their people. It has been going on for a long time. Though in the past they "technically" needed a warrant to do it. Once the C.I.A. or N.S.A. or other agencies ask for so many warrants, the courts are going to either declare it unconstitutional to need a warrant, or hand them to them w/o name or date (like writeup forms at school) and say "use them as you see fit."
The best way to combat this is to say antigovernmental things over the phone, every time your on it (wonderful way to pass hold time) w/o fail, and use antigovernment things with email and text. Overwhelm the system and they will either stop, or go commi on us and arrest everyone. Either way, it will stop in the end, either via revolution or abandonment.
