In his article, Shmulik Hadad quotes Jonatan Shapira, a former Israeli Air Force Pilot who was on the boat:

"There are no words to describe what we went through," he said. "The IDF Spokesperson's Unit is trying to paint a picture as though the takeover was not violent, but the soldiers' actions were violent and disgusting. I was tasered by a soldier. Our message is that the occupation in Gaza cannot continue."

It seems as though we've received another dose of the bare faced lies of the Israeli government.

Whilst the Government spokesperson paints a picture of a non-violent incident, the passengers' voices are now being heard and tell a different story.

Whilst this may not cause a huge stir in the world in general, I guess it could causen bigger waves in the non-Zionist Jewish community.

Yes, and even though they know the world is watching, and even though they know these people would make statements about the violence used against them, they still do it.
