images can say a lot at times.
i came across this one and found it very powerful.
whether or not this is a set up, i couldn't say.
a thread of images like this would be quite interesting and entertaining.
feel free to post.

The guy on the far right is saying, "Lucky B*****d".

It goes to show, people need to start living a little.

Interpretations of pictures say more than the pictures do.

Does the picture explain the relationship of the subjects? Does it explain the need of the embrace of the one couple?

They could be Brother and Sister, who suffered a loss
They could be lovers
They could just be good friends, one of which is not feeling well.

The other couple

Could have been total strangers
Could have felt uncomfortable with public displays of affection
Could have been Brother and sister
father and daughter

Who knows??

With Love,

Your Brother

but the question is.
what was the photogs intention.
to me it was clearly political.
a knock against islam.

My friend, I am not in anyway intending to dispute your perspective. All I can say is that it is simply a photo graph.

There is nothing that reveals the subjects intentions or state of mind in the photo graph, nor is there anything that reveals the motive of the photographer.

For all I know, the intended subject was the doors in the background, as seen from a distance.

Everything we look at in this life we filter on the way to our consciousness. Once it gets there, we interpret it based on how much information has received it through the filters. Remove the filters, and you find that you really cannot form an opinion on many things at all. Thus, you are more open to just accepting all as it is.

It is a state of inner peace, at least for me. This peace allows me to love all things as they are, without judgement.

Judge not, Love all, be at peace

With Love,

Your Brother

ah, i was hoping you'd just say the opposite.
from a muslim perspective it could be seen as a knock against western society.
which is also true in some of the world.
taking the 'do not judge' aspect away also removes the artistic value in ways.
to each his own for sure.
i like to look at both sides of the story.

Or it can add to it my friend. For example, by not judging the scene, just taking it in, I see 4 people sharing Love.

I see two who are very close and demonstrating it through touch. I see two more who are impacted and even sharing in the moment by watching.

Thus, I see the photograph as uniting 4 people, who would otherwise remain apart.

To take it even further, 5 people are sharing in this love, once you count the photographer.

And lastly, all those who view the photograph are equally sharing i the expression of love, if they so choose to see it that way.

Ah, the power of Art.

But, this is just my view.

With Love,

Your Brother

i see an example of westerners who dont know how to be appropriate in public.

it would seem the social conservatives in the USA have more in common with Islam than they realize. Islam is the OG social conservative movement.
