Blast in Turkey near hotel where Bush will stay

An explosion near the hotel in the Turkish capital where U.S. President George W. Bush is due to stay on Saturday night was caused by a "percussion bomb" and nobody was hurt, a hotel official has told Reuters.

Apparently, percussin bombs are not uncommon in Tukey. Mostly noisemakers, it appears the device's intention may have been to say, "we can get you." By the way, I forget why Bush is traveling to Turkey. Anyone?

Found it! Bush will be in Turkey for a NATO meeting. By the way, another device exploded and kills three. Turkish officials say the NATO meeting is very secure and these incidents could have hapenned anywhere else in the world. Okay.
