This morning, guerrillas attacked U.S. and Iraqi forces in apparently coordinated strikes in several towns in Iraq and at least 14 people have been
killed.
The simultaneous violence in Baquba, Falluja, Ramadi and Mosul on Thursday was the latest episode in a bloody campaign by insurgents to sabotage the
formal handover from U.S.-led occupation to an Iraqi interim government in six days' time.

The Bush administraiton insists on calling the attacks acts of terrorism. Does anyone believe the attacks are part of a genuine Iraqi insurgency?
That the insurgents may be aided by Al-Qaeda opportunist, however the majority of the violence is aimed at removing the US from Iraq?
We know Al-Qaeda will continue thier fight against the US, regardless of where this may take them. But will the insurgents will be content to stay in
Iraq and frighten their own people, or will they join up with Al-Qaeda's struggle for world domination?
