Official: NASA to carry out projects in Egypt
"US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Director Charles Bolden said that the space agency had plans to carry out projects in Egypt and other Islamic countries aimed at enhancing local living conditions.

Giving a lecture at the American University in Cairo on Tuesday, Bolden said that the planned NASA projects were in line with US President Barack Obama's promise to "turn a new page" with the Islamic world in his seminal address delivered in Cairo last year.

"We plan to cover weather forecasts, telecommunications, excavations of antiquities, remote sensing and crisis management," Bolden explained.

"If you look at the earth from space, you'll find more factors that bring us together than separate us," he noted.

Bolden went on to praise prominent Egyptian scientists Farouk el-Baz and Ahmed Zewail for their contributions to scientific advancement and advised Egyptian youth wishing to study space sciences in the US to return home to Egypt to apply their knowledge in the service of their country.

There is evidence that they are composed of a kind of silt like material, and there has been human hair found within the pyramid blocks. Also, there is evidence of air bubbles within the blocks, much like that which occurs with regular concrete.
