I doubt this ruling is going to do any good. I do however think that the flotilla that was attacked when it did not port and the proper place has now done it's job. Meaning giving a reason for opinion to go against the blockade.

Would be kind of sad, wouldn't it, if the primary objective of that mission was simply to raise awarness and stir public sentiment and the secondary objective was to deliver supplies.

No it will not do any good, while Zionism has such a strong grasp on world politics, well on the stronger nations anyhow.
Next of course I will be called an anti-semite.

Supporters of Israel's illegal actions condemn the UN, the very instrument that allowed Israel to exist. I call that biting the hand that feeds you. Bad dog! I'm rolling up the newspaper.

Sad yes, and when all that was necessary was to dock, or stop and be inspected, and they chose to skip any of that how much else is there to conclude? Sad but much of the game that is being played is based on what the media will report. That means what kind of story can one create.

The UN? Really? Well if the UN, Nazi's, Muslims, and other anti-semites are against it, that pretty much settles it.

Nazia and Muslims and Antisemites, Oh My!!

Same drivel as in the OTHER thread, so I provide the same answer. At least you reveal your own agenda.

The terms "expert panel" and UN are non-sequetor. You could say "a panel of UN anti-semite globalists" or "another lying pack of international theives" or "muslims with free time" but please be more accurate in the future.

Sure...the propaganda machine kicks is, no subtlety required. Here's that "a panel of UN anti-semite globalists" or "another lying pack of international theives" or "muslims with free time"...

The 56-page report - compiled by a former UN war crimes prosecutor, Desmond de Silva, a judge from Trinidad, Karl Hudson-Phillips, and a Malaysian women's rights advocate, Mary Shanthi Dairiam - accuses Israeli forces of crimes including violating the right to life, liberty and freedom of expression, and of failing to treat prisoners with humanity. www.smh.com.au...

Do you ever weigh the advantages of doing a little homework before that knee jerks on you?

A self-edit to add that I will be interested to see what Israel's inquiry comes up with. Fact is, give people guns and a high-tension situation, and people can screw up...bad. This may be a situation that got seriously and regrettably out of hand.

All a charade when its obvious to non-sheople that Israel has a very strong influence over the UN.
True they don't control every person, but I have yet to see any economic sanctions against a nation that has amassed an arsenal of nuclear weapons, yet Iran with it's peaceful nuclear reactor is hammered.

Note sure which vetoes you refer to, but this sums up my post exactly. Israel=US=UN.

Ambassador Charles W. Yost cast the first U.S. veto in 1970, regarding a crisis in Rhodesia, and the U.S. cast a lone veto in 1972, to prevent a resolution relating to Israel. Since that time, it has become by far the most frequent user of the veto, mainly on resolutions criticizing Israel; since 2002 the Negroponte doctrine has been applied for the use of a veto on resolutions relating to the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict. This has been a constant cause of friction between the General Assembly and the Security Council, as seen with the 2003 Iraqi war which was not endorsed by the UN.

The report does not have any legal force and the UN human rights council, which has been accused of a disproportionate focus on Israel, is viewed with scepticism by many western countries because it is dominated by the developing world.

Here is the link to the actual UN report....can't get it to work, Mods, if you could help.......
[url=http://www.ohchr.org/english/bodies/hrcouncil/docs/15session/A.HRC.15.21_en.pdf]http://www.ohchr.org/english/bodies/hrcouncil/docs/15session/A.HR C.15.21_en.pdf

Yawn... Israel will still enforce it's blockade of Gaza. The UNHRC judges that the blockade is unlawful, because of the undue hardship it puts on the ordinary citizens of Gaza. They also expect the Israelis to take each ship at it's word when it says it has no contraband, hardly an effective way of making sure of that. I am sure Israel disagrees with that.

I still put the blame on the people on the ships that attacked the Israeli soldiers. Other ships in the flotilla did not fight the boarding and no one was killed on those ships. The Report mentions that Israel used live fire, but it also states they used a host of non lethal arms as well. Again it comes back to some on the ship actively attacking the Israeli forces.

generations of genetic conditioning propel this inane assinine actions and behavior which continue to demonstrate on both sides the defective anti-human and anti-reverence for life on both sides. Neither treats the other as though they have the right to exist or call anywhere on Earth their home.

"Israel has denounced this report and says the UN human rights council has for a very long time been biased against the Jewish State”

I think executing people, blockading societies, hindering international investigations, and with holding substantial evidence of the crimes of murders demonstrates the bias that Israel accuses the United Nations Human Rights Council of.

I do not approve of my tax dollars being spent at a rate that digs an economic hole to China from G.O.D. (Government Of Dollars, aka America) in support of human rights violations. And as far as the MSM (Mind System Manipulators) go, they tell the public what helps their ratings, as well as what fits their agenda(s).

United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict

PRESS RELEASE
29 September 2009

Head of UN Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict urges accountability for war crimes; insists impunity undermines peace process and encourages violence.

GENEVA – Head of the UN Fact Finding Mission Justice Richard Goldstone urged the international community to put an end to impunity for violations of international law in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory as he presented the report of the Mission to the Human Rights Council on Tuesday.

Following its 3-month investigation, the four-person Mission concluded that serious violations of international human rights and humanitarian law were committed by Israel in the context of its military operations in Gaza from December 27, 2008 to January 18, 2009, and that Israel committed actions amounting to war crimes, and possibly crimes against humanity.

United Nations Human Rights Council

Israel and Palestine, both of you black holes can just stop sucking the world into your delusional expectations that the other side has no right to exist, how about that?

I treat cockroaches better than Israelis and Palestinians treat eachother. Way to demonstrate the ideologies of your crazy Gods, folks

Israelis,
47 nations participated in the Investigation, and concluded 1 Nation's actions were wrong, Israel.

No one should live in or around JerUSAlem for as long as people have been killing eachother over it, in my opinion.

-ET
