Nice try but....

Would he be allowed to criticize the Iranian government? Would he be allowed to criticize their policies?
Iminpajamas is free to do so here.

Would they air it?

Nice try, but they also don't let you speak out against the government in 10's even 100's of countries. China for example where you owe them 1 trillion.

Why not attack them, why Iran.

America's foreign policy is laughable look at wikileaks you country is as evil as the rest.

So what you are suggesting by your post is that your "empire" should go into Iran, just like Iraq and Afghanistan and give them a taste of good ol' American democracy where every single human consumes 5 times more than the average human should.

I'd love for you to please point to where I said that or anything like that.
Thanks for the rant. That just proves a point. People cannot critique Iran without being accused of being a Warmonger.

And that is on topic how exactly?

Why not attack them, why Iran.

Hey Einstein, who is attacking Iran here?
we are just simply asking questions and discussing the issue. Why? We can't ask questions? or discuss Iran?

Yup I read it and I have openly discussed that.
NOW we are discussing Iran.

Oh wait we can't discuss IRAN.

Heh Heh

You're welcome to post and discuss anything you feel like.

Thanking you, Slayer, for your post. More information (ongoing discussion/ current updates) can be had at

Not sure if it is still so active, but those interested might try #iranelection on Twitter. (Be VERY careful what links you click on. Pasdaran has done some really ugly sh## in the past)

There are many sources for info. Al Jazeera is one. Also alarabiya.net. Both are available in english. I'm trying to remember the others (bookmarks stored off of my computer)

It is only a matter of time before the Persians win their freedom. Imo, we really need to stay out of their way, at least.

I have seen all I need to see to know most of the people of Iran would love nothing more than not have the government they have, and most would like to be more open to the USA, We really missed the boat last summer when the people of Iran were in the streets we should have invaded, and 90% of the citizens of Iran would have joined us! And Iran would not be an issue today.

Yeah. Worked great with Iraq!
[/sarcasm]

EDIT TO ADD: See, someone just started a NEW thread on why people hate americans. Myself, I don't hate anyone, but this is one reason why MANY do. It's not just because of the american government. It's also because of some american mentality.

You would NEVER hear that kind of comment from anyone from any other country. Be it serious, be it a joke.

I was trying to state that no country's people are united behind their leaders. Iran is a backwards country, but I bet Ahmadinejad's approval ratings are around the same as Obama's and Congress'.

Well here is an interesting twist in the ongoing Iran story. It seems "Russia" is also not behind Iran/Ahmadinejad either.

U.S. welcomes Russia's ban on S-300 missile sales to Iran
