Yes, I do agree. I have not heard of "charging people" for instruction in the Church. We do have to pay for Catholic schools because they do have the same expenses that the regular school systems have. I have been a teacher in the church formation system. The RICA program helps adults learn about the Church before they make a commitment to join. Children still attend Catholic formation during their school years. Neither of these programs have monetary charges attached to them.

Paying for schools is fine and i would never have a problem for that in a million years.It was all stuff i knew already they had me pay to learn all over again,I agree the teachings are not the right teachings any more,its a disgrace and its from the top [vatican] all the way down.

They set up hospitals where people can get treatment after they have been shot or blown up.

The devil doesn't bother going after people who are already his. He especially goes after the holiest people and those who are in positions to keep people away from him. OF COURSE he's going to be roaming around the Vatican. It's the center of authority for the religion of 1 billion people on this planet. I'm sure he's sniffing around in ALL the major houses of worship and in the religions that promote peace (Buddhist monasteries, etc). He can't destroy them without trying to enter them ... ya' know?

Catholic belief is that everyone is supposed to pray for everyone else. Catholics are to ask others to pray for them; to interceed for them to Jesus. Catholics also believe that those who have 'died' and were in good standing with God, are in the presence of God awaiting the physical ressurection of their bodies. (read when Jesus was crucified - he promised the 'good thief' that he'd be with him in paradise that day). THEREFORE .... Catholics ask Mary to interceed with her Son for them. See? She's standing right there next to Christ so she would take the requests that people here are asking and she's put them in His hands. The unwritten thought is that Christ would be more likely to grant a request coming from His mother than coming directly from an average person.

I dont think hes saying the devils is someone, more so its the mindset, its the mentality floating about within the vatican.

I did read your "link". There does seem to be truth and error mixed up in the "chapter". After the council many parishes from all over the world started interpreting, by their own ideas, what the council had stated. The Catholic Church is huge and I do agree that many of the liberal ideas did flourish under this lapse after the council.

I suggest you look at the actual documents from the council. This was the reason behind the new revised edition of the "Catechism of the Catholic Church". Now what the Church actually teaches can be found by anyone.

It is a good thing that the Church now teaches us to find and agree on the precepts in common between different religions. This does not mean that the Catholic Church must change its beliefs to conform to other denominations or religions.

My beliefs may also not reflect all of the Church's teaching. I do continue to study, but, I am only a human woman and mistakes can be made by me also.

Time to get on with my day.....Thank you for sharing your ideas.

We ask The Blessed Virgin Mary in prayer to intercede for us. She is a great intercessor along with the saints.

She is the one chosen by God to carry the Divine One. Pretty important task, wouldn't you say? And no, Catholics do not believe she is divine. She is mortal. Holy, but mortal.
Consider this. Jesus lived 33 years. He gave 30 of those years to His mother. He gave 3 of those years to the public. The Blessed Virgin Mary was very highly regarded and deeply, deeply loved by Jesus as well. She traveled with Jesus and His Apostles. She was with His Apostles when the Holy Spirit descended upon them in the upper room on Pentecost. The last public address was Him giving His mother's care over to us. Any Christian who does not regard Mary with reverence. love and respect is disregarding Jesus' last wishes.
Muslims, too, hold Mary in very high regard.

I must say that I am surprised with all the prophesy and predictions posted constantly on this site that not much is ever said about the apparitions at Garabandal, Fatima, Medjugorje, and San Damiano, or the writings of Maria Simma.
Perhaps because they are all Catholic/ Marian in nature. I don't know. It seems that anything like that gets flamed so badly that perhaps it wouldn't be worth the effort of putting together a thread.
It would seem to be more credible to read about those than some random Timewave Zero nonsense or anyone else who had some dream or such that gets so many flags and taken seriously.
The illumination of the Holy Spirit, the redistribution of wealth, the 10 warnings, and the indestructible signs are things that give me pause. When these things happen, I wonder how many people will still be unbelievers.
