Indeed I was about to mention this. Martin Malachi's 'fictional account', "Windswept House", describes the satanic ritual that allowed the devil access to the Vatican. Some say that this work was not entirely fictional, given Malachi's intimate access to Vatican secrets.

Also if you read Revelations 17, the description of the whore of Babylon sure sounds a lot like the Roman church. I believe in the last days the Vatican will essentially be just another tool of the devil. In fact God hates the whore so much that he allows the antichrist to rise to power for the express purpose of destroying the whore.

There was a discussion by Father Malachi Martin, worked closely with numerous Pontiffs, that a ritual to Lucifer did take place in the Vatican. He was the first, before this Chief exorcist, to mention the "smoke of Satan" lurking in the halls of the Vatican. Pope John Paul II did too.

I just want to clarify here that you are misattributing the "Smoke of Satan" quote.

It was said by His Holiness, Pope Paul VI, in a homily, on November 15, 1972, stating that "the smoke of satan is in the Temple of God"- translation from Italian.

Biblically, I agree that this is prophecied, where there will be many priests attacked by satan, led astray. But, really?? Where in the world does one come up with the headline from what Pope Paul VI says? I would love to hear how the leap is made....but alas, it is only Catholics. Who cares.
However, if one believes in the Bible, Jesus also states that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the church he built.

So, the Pope cannot be the antichrist, or Jesus Christ is a liar, first and foremost...

I realize the virulent dislike here for Catholicism. Just wanted to be sure that the quote was given to the proper person.

Hello Seven thunders thanks for dropping in!! I read that book Wind Swept house,great read and the ritual was
"THE ENTRONEMENT OF LUCIFER IN THE VATICAN" it was preformed in the Vatican in Peters chapel and in the U.S.A straight after. sounds like creepy stuff indeed.

Why would anyone wonder that the devil attacks the Vatican? The devil doesn't need to mess with people or organizations that are doing fine with spreading their own brand of evil. The devil attacks, in his own way, the good. What better way then to mess with individual priests and pull the Vatican down one by one.

The devil can't stand all of the good that the Vatican, Catholic Church, does. Jesus said that this would happen.

Yeah if you convert mate!! im a catholic and i was sent to a non catholic school and they werent going to let me made my confirmation because of it after geting baptised,comunionand at the end they made my mother pay hundreds for extra lessons on the religion just so i could.

The church helped nazis escape after the war!!!
the church raped and killed thousands of children!!!
the church called Hitler one of gods great children!!!

they are a cesspit at times and other times they are great!!! ,the religion has changed a lot!! and their is always two sides!!

Do not make the mistake of including THE Church...the one Jesus speaks of. The Church has no walls, no pulpit, no organization, no monthly dues, no bylaws. THE Church exists in the hearts of followers of Christ and other true Christians.

I am not perfect... I am the lowliest of sinners...but each day I grow in understanding and faith and love. Love and peace and forgiveness....faith, hope, and love.

The Catholic Church is the "Great Whore" or "Mother of Harlots" from which all the other worldly churches grew from. They will be in league with the Anti-christ or the" harlot that rides the beast"....churches in partnership with world governments to deceive, mislead, and rule. I have no doubt that that is what is happening now... a war within to be master of the faith here on Earth.

If you do not follow Christ, so be it...peace be with you. If you are a Christian... leave the organized church. If you choose to stay within one... be on guard for corruption of the Word.

Its all just a scam,i dont remember hearing Jesus say go to church and put you money in the collection plate.
I believe in the good teachings of jesus because when you live your life that way you feel better about yourself,good is good anyway you look at it!!

Thanks for your concern Mahree ,I have a very good relationship with my creator ,i just dont need the church to do it. im a multi generational catholic and for them to refuse my confirmation over not going to the school they wanted me to,is just crazy!!!! do you agree?

Yes, I do agree. I have not heard of "charging people" for instruction in the Church. We do have to pay for Catholic schools because they do have the same expenses that the regular school systems have. I have been a teacher in the church formation system. The RICA program helps adults learn about the Church before they make a commitment to join. Children still attend Catholic formation during their school years. Neither of these programs have monetary charges attached to them.

And, yes, I do agree that some parishes have interpreted Catholic teaching incorrectly. A reading of the "Catechism of the Catholic Church" will clarify what the Catholic Church really teaches. It would be a shame to give up on the Church because one parish made a mistake.
