please forgive ...I assumed(something you should never do) That everyone already knew we got into WW2 because FDR knew a Jap attack on pearl harbor was imminent threw letters and intercepted coded messages. FDR sat on the Intel to ensure the Jap's a successful surprise attack.
He did this because he had campaigned against America's involvement in the War to achieve his presidency.
But after the Attacks America wanted in ....just like 911

Yes, that is WHY the Americans wanted in, or at least the straw that broke the camel's back. The propaganda aimed at Germany was already in full swing by then, directed by the Jews in the media and Hollywood.
The big picture has always been whom controls the world economy.
