One of the largest storms on the planet is forecast to bring heavy rain and snow to much of the country from tomorrow.

Hmm.
so CHCH gets rocked by almost 600 earthquakes. largest 7.1mg ( in under 2 weeks )

and now the roughest storm on the planet approaches. (although its 1000km south of nz its still going to roll over us. its the size of australia.

anything suspect here?

the city has almost been leveled with devastation. those still standing are being pulld down and condemned i have many friends who have lost everything. just gone. so what now for this country? a storm. lol.

whats also rather suspect i think is the EQC (earthquake commission) just set up $16B and now i think all the business men rich enough are just going to buy up the land like so many times in the past. cheap land grab.

i have heard that its "electrical earthquakes" caused by quartz int he marsh/swampy/lowlands and plains of canturbury.... no sure but kinda makes a bit of sense.

also a small passenger plane flipped upside down and crashed in a paddock after take off.. killed em all.
coincidence? right @ the time of the earthquake i hear.

now the total is almost 700... (682 quakes to this minute)

My thoughts are with New Zealand as it copes with continued tremors and this storm. Be safe and hopefully the storm will do less damage than expected.

I think this storm is over the Bay of Plenty, North Island area at this moment, the wind right now is unbelievable. I've been here 30 years and don't ever remember winds this ferocious. Thought there was a tornado overhead, could hear things smashing outside, not sure what as yet-haven't ventured out to check outdoors. Wonder what the predicted wind speeds are...

thats insane, im in australia and jut hearing of this makes me nervous! Hope it doesnt hit our neighbours as bad as they predicted.
