Today is the start of the National Hispanic Heritage Month. This is so awesome! Yeah Busta!!! Also what is also great is Mexican independence day tomorrow!

Well Hispanics and Latinos come from Europe. Italy and Spain to be exact. With the colonization of Latin America it might of made us mixed or Mestizos. But we're much more in number then the English and Irish.

Yippeee! Another chance for one group of people to celebrate how different they are from others. Well, isn;t that special ?
I think we need to ditch all these so-and-so's' history months.
History belongs to all mankind.
I have nothing against Hispanic culture, they have made some great contributions to mankind.
I just feel that these types of "events" only serve to further separate people.

couldn't find anything about Spain having an English heritage month on the first 3 pages.

i googled "English heritage month in Italy".
couldn't find anything about Italy having an English heritage month.

i googled "English heritage month in Mexico".

the month of July is named after Julius Caesar.

So, yes. it can happen. someone can get an entire month named after them.

August is also named after a Caesar.
