Agreed! That image sucks! So what I played around with was some layman's 'color correction' techniques(!) for fun. Here's a crop of the image you linked to. Blue sand??

Ok, let's do a global color correction to turn sand to the natural color of sand we see on Earth and this is what turns up....

Ice/snow/frost around that depression? Hmmmm...Looks like a conspiracy by JPL to hide the truth!!

My hat is off to you Orion for enhancing one of the greatest photos ever taken on Mars. Your color correction, blue sand photo, proves and the photo of global color correction also proves beyond a shadow of a doubt life exists on Mars. I will bring up 3 things I see clearly in the photo, but it took me some time and there is plenty to see in the color corrected version of the NASA blue sand photo. On the back side of the blue sand is a Sandmarie he or she is very small approx. 3/4 to 1 inch from the top of the page downward you will clearly see the Capital letter G that is far left in photo. Now follow on the same parallel to the right about 1/3 of the way over in photo the Sandmarie standing next to the right of another Capital G or the number 6, looking at the photo is a Sandmarie. The Sandmarie has what looks like short braided hair with the end of the Sandmarie's right arm is a perfect claw. On the left arm looking outward at the viewers contains a staff or part of the braid with 2 slightly angled light in color thick strips like on a Barber's Pole.

There are many perfect in design humanoid looking busts in the blue sand photo and 2 are either perfect Aztec or Mayan beings with detailed headdresses the rest are absolutely incredible. NASA does this color correction to throw the viewers off from knowing the truth.

Mars is a melting pot like on Earth of beings and there are clear evidence of the black, caucasian, the red race and oriental race.

How to you see these anomalies. At first they will seem to be invisible to the human eye but when the blue sand and global correction you will be able to see these amazing statue looking busts. Only 5% of the population will see them at first and give up looking at the photo. Look at the blue sand photo like your looking at a holographic photo once you see this images your jaw will drop. Remember these a vague images and are covered with a color veil like a curtain and you must penetrate the veil and it takes practice. I have spent thousand of hours viewing photos of Mars. Remember do not give up keep looking it is like riding a bike once you have mastered the challenge of viewing these anomalies you have got it and many will say I am crazy but I know what I know and see what I see.

This photos are secret coded you will find the number and letter codes nearby the anomalies the letter S is always prevalent in Mars photos it could be a branding or similar to a tattoo. Not all anomalies are as hard to see as this blue sand photo but the rewards are great and a magnifying glass with 3X bubble does not hurt. Remember that NASA layers their images like putting glass over glass over glass. I will try to find an expert to isolate this images and busts and bring these photos out in the open for people can see the anomalies. Some of the busts look Greek and Mesopotamian. They use the Omega symbol and Greek numbers and letters like we do in the United States and these are clearly being used in the photos. You will find these letters, numbers and symbols in both the Blue Sand and Global Color Correction photos. ^Y^

There are many websites claiming artifacts and lifeforms on Mars but one that stands out to me is Project Redstar again remember this is a teams interpretation of what they see on the surface of Mars. There have been many threads on project Redstar on ATS and if you do a Google Search on Project Redstar there is an abundance of information, photos and videos of extraordinary anomalies on Mars. ^Y^
