HISTORY BUFFS...AND CONSPIRACY THEORISTS: UNITE!
Was there a ROMAN CATHOLIC Connection to the Lincoln Assassination 14 April 1865?
Consider these FACTS:
John Wilkes Booth and "all but one" of the other five male conspirators in the Assassination of Lincoln were devout Roman Catholics, especially Mary
Surrat who fervently evangelized for the Catholic Church for decades.
In addition there were others arrested at the Surrat house: Mrs. Surratt, a Roman Catholic; her daughter, Anna, a Roman Catholic; Mrs. Fitzpatrick, a
Roman Catholic, and Miss Hollahan, a Roman Catholic.
Before the officers had left this house a light knock was heard at the door and a young man appeared in disguise, as he was dressed as a common
laborer and carried a pick upon his shoulder; his hands were white and soft and he was also arrested, and his name was Powell, another Roman
Catholic.
After their convictions, Herald, Powell and Mrs. Surratt were hung, and Dr. Mudd and O'Laughlin were committed to lifelong imprisonment, and ALL of
these persons mentioned were Roman Catholics.
John Wilkes Booth regularly went (as an actor he could do this, by actually crossing of enemy lines) from Baltimore to Montreal Candad on Spy Missions
for the South in 1862-1865 to meet with "Jesuit Priests" who were collecting intelligence there for the Confederacy via Vatican Channels.
Mary Surrats own son, John Surrat, escaped the noose that hung his mother, by fleeing to Montreal where Jesuit priests with direct ties to Pope Pius
in the Vatican placed him in protective custody--he was later discovered sequestered in the Popes own Swiss Guard at the Vatican.
and returned for trial in 1867.
President Lincoln himself in his Drawer of Letters marked "Assassination" which he collected since 1862 had notes which warned (from at least two
individuals) before the assassination to be on guard for his life SPECIFICALLY against Roman 'Catholic' assassins.
The fact, attested by sworn affidavits, that Catholic Priests at a monastery near St. Joseph MN, were openly talking about the killings of both
Lincoln and Seward some FIVE hours before the attacks occurred.
in 1864 Pope Pius IX wrote Jefferson Davis a letter that was made public, addressing him as the President of the Confederacy in effect becoming the
only foreign power to recognize the South.
An historian canemd Chinquy who met Lincoln in 1864-1865 published a book in 1906, claiming among other things that "the President, Abraham Lincoln,
was assassinated by people who were in league with certain Catholic priests and in particular the Jesuits of the Vatican."
In 1897 Thomas M. Harris, a member of the 1865 military commission, interviewed scores of individuals as part of his work on the assassination and
concluded : VATICAN COVERUP and even wrote a book entitled Rome's Responsibility for the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
In his book, The Suppressed Truth about the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln, Burke McCarty begins by tracing the roots of Papal antipathy toward
popular (as opposed to monarchical, or 'divine right') government as far back as the Congress of Vienna (Austria, 1814-15) and the Congress of
Verona (Italy, 1822).
Comments anyone?
