Wow, thank you for the replies. I'm gonna take a moment and try and answer some of the questions here

Where do we sign up?

You already did when you became a member

What video or still formats or specs do you want?

The quickest way would be to upload your video format to youtube. You're allowed up to 2gb and 15 minute videos. If you have the knowledge to do so, change the format to .flv and upload it to the media portal.

Where do we send it or host it?

Check previous remarks

Do you want stock, or all ready finished with audio and corrections?

Depends on your working knowledge. I'm more than happy to help members with certain corrections to their footage. Just send me a u2u with all relevant questions and I'll try to get back to you within a timely mannner.

Do you want stock of various areas (IE stock regualr background shots of various city icons in our area)

In most "Newscasts" this would be considered b-roll. If your ultra ambitious then by all means get that b-roll footage. However, due to time constraints and such we can just stick with the meat and potatoes of what is happening.

Excellent question! Right now threads are picked based upon importance and interest to the "chicks". We are encouraging members to get into the action and report. Quality of reports will significantly improve chances of a feature segment on the show. You can also u2u myself, AshleyD, or Asala about your thread for consideration.

I look forward to this great big new project as members have already been donating media for the upcoming Conspiracy Chicks episode.

You don't "sign up", there is no structure to this beyond contacting either, Julie, Ashley or "ATSMediaPro" (Joe the producer) via u2u to describe what you've got or what you're going to get and seeing if it's a fit. If they do think it will work, either upload the video to the media portal or Joe can arrange another way for it to get to him (he does all the editing and production of the shows).

There are no credentials, no contracts and, at this point, we can't afford to pay any expenses. You will always own your video, by virtue of you uploading it to our servers you give us license to use it in "The Conspiracy Chicks".

SIMPLE, EASY and hopefully FUN.

If this takes off, we will likely expand this into a more formal situation, but for now let's just see what we can do with it.
